With ownership? No.

The Yorks love Shanahan (and Lynch). And whether you agree with it or not, this regime has the scapegoat of injuries they can point to for poor performance since our Super Bowl appearance. The team is still playing hard and each of our losses have been by less than a touchdown.

And by drafting Trey Lance, Shanahan and Lynch bought themselves at least two years to develop him and the roster around him.

We will never win a Super Bowl with the dorks, ownership is the dam problem, ran out a good coach already

What? We've been in 2 the last 10 years and literally 1 play away from winning each of them. Please explain how the Yorks cost is those 2 games.
A team that Is built to run the ball, doesn't want to 🤔. We need to get back to basics.
All of the above? Playcalling has left a lot to be desired, starting QB is hurt and wasn't playing all that great to being with, Rookie QB in there still figuring things out, WRs not getting separation, O-Line holding too much/not pass protecting or run blocking well, injured RBs, injured starting TE. A lot of these factors reinforce each other eg playcalling is bad because QB play is bad and vice versa.

Overall, the team just isn't that good right now. It happens, some years you're just a middle of the road team. That's what this team looks like right now. I'm looking forward to the Jimmy contract coming off the books so we can use that money to shore up some of these problems.

O line has been s**t since 2014. That's the problem.

Why isn't O line an option? Putting the team in 1st and 20 over and over doesn't help play calling, QB and WR play or the running game.

I agree with this take. But I also believe this team can compete for playoffs still.

We figure to get JaMychal Hasty back in the next couple weeks? Maybe Jeff Wilson back in November? So there's a hope for some help at runningback.

Ultimately though, we're not sharp and it's something the team is very aware of. They're a high-character team. They're going to work at it, and I'll be shocked if our team-wide inconsistency continues. Because if it does, that's on Shanahan.

I don't know what they're trying to be

. ... which goes back to the question of.. did we not draft a RB in the 3rd round?

Did we take this guy to be a backup??
Brian Deboll may be the answer if Shanahan can't get it together. He has worked at Alabama, New England, and KC so he can run an offense that his Dad didn't make. Also, he has helped Allen become a much better passer. So he could work with and construct an offense around Lance.

No Mostert, No Kittle, no consistency at QB and musical chairs at WR. Not to mention Shanahan's play calling has looked like Mountain West Football. This team is a real mess right now. I'd like to throw in conservative no-balls GM in the mix too.

I'd take Nevada Air Raid at this point

LOL.

I had thought the Bye week was kind of early, but it comes at a good time. We need to regroup.

Luckily we should have more favorable matchups against the Colts and Bears, and then home games against divisional opponents before playing the Jaguars and Vikings. I'm certain we turn it around, but we really need to come out strong in this stretch.

Bears beat a decent Raiders team that I'd have no confidence in the 9ers beating at this point. Bears will be no walk in the park.

hes definately a sexy candidate.

I don't think we're going to can Shanahan this year though. Maybe if we have a losing season this year and next year. I am not sure if Daboll will still be in the market by then

This line isn't used to blocking for a fast running qb. He's darting all over the place and they start holding not knowing where he's at. Complete and utter coaching failure
