I get that. But once I heard the news on Wednesday I was assuming he wasn't going to play. Not worth the risk with those conditions.

If no Trent Williams, and it's looking like that, along with the D missing interior DL guys Kinlaw & Hurst...it's going to be a challenge that hopefully the guys who are playing will be up to. Hasty will be back. Wish K. Williams would be back this week, too.
The Colts are banged up as well, and unfortunately for them just lost one of their playmaking Safeties.
The Niners need to come out strong from the outset. They can win this game - need to start this Sunday stringing together some wins.

Monsoon game like the one in DC . That might actually benefit the Niners since their passing game is built round short passes ad YAC. Deep passes will probably be really hard if those 30 MPH winds materialize. Deebo might be able to have a good game if he gets the right cleats.

If Kyle does his job and I think he will, he isn't going to call a play that doesn't have the ball gone in under 2.2 seconds. With wet field that slows down takeoff of DTs and DEs meaning a long incompletion.

If Kyle does his job and I think he will, he isn't going to call a play that doesn't have the ball gone in under 2.2 seconds. With wet field that slows down takeoff of DTs and DEs meaning a long incompletion.

Williams sprained his ankle in the AZ game and was recovering fine after the bye but then somehow reaggravated it during the first practice back on Monday. Damn that sucks.

The weather forecast keeps getting worse. Now they are saying it could evolve into a bomb cyclone. They're calling it a 5 on a scale of 1 to 5. These things often end up petering out or maybe it will arrive late after the game is over. All I know is if it's as bad as they're predicting the game will probably be bad as well. What fans actually show up and stay will all be in the clubs instead of their seats. Let's hope they don't lose more players to injury on the wet field.
