SF 49ers vs Colts Pregame Thread - 2021 Season Week 7

Buckner about to feast on us!
Will be watching for this from the Niners coming off their Bye week:

-How do they look right out of the gate/how prepared do they look

-Will the D pick up where it left off with continued strong play/stop the run effectively/pressure & hit Wentz early & often?

-If Garoppolo's healthy & starting: Can he improve on his play from Game 1 up through that first TD drive vs. Seattle (team averaged 29 ppg in games 1 - 3)? If it's Lance: Can he improve on his first start (with better help from his supporting cast and his HC) and can he help lead the team to more points where they're in good position to win?

-Can ST be at least solid? Doesn't have to be spectacular but can they be at least solid?
Imo, this game is a must win. No, we won't be mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. However, the defense looks like it is beginning to hit its stride and Shanahan has an extra week to gameplan. The offense cannot afford to come out flat. There have been issues with execution across the board and that falls on the players as well as coaching. If they can execute in all four quarters I think it can be a springboard into a 180 and possibly turn this ship around.

I WANT WINNERS
lol. yall whiners better buckle up. Jed loves him some KS/JL. Even if trey doesnt pan out i would not be surprised if he doesnt get another shot at a different qb. draft or trade.

with that being said i think we can win with either QB. if our DLINE eats we are a winning team, lets go , bang bang!

Agree with this. I want them to come out from the starting whistle looking sharp - in all three phases. And, want them to have that sense of urgency as if it's a must-win game. They do this and I very much like this team's chances vs. the Colts...and then building momentum going forward.

Those dont exist outside of Indianapolis. , im worse, a niner fan in seattle so i hear it all in person, dont need it from the faithful either.

that being said the 12s are pretty gloomy atm. the office is reaaaaaallly sad about the loss to the steelers. LOL
Been a fan of the team since the late 80's. This weekend, my wife and I are going to be in town to watch the game as part of our 20th anniversary trip. We are traveling from Indiana and are unsure about the ins/outs of getting to the stadium. The game is literally the only thing on our agenda for Sunday. My current plan is to take the Caltrain to Mountain View and the VTA Lightrail to the stadium using the Caltrain + VTA Day pass. But what I'm unsure of is WHEN should I leave SF? Should we get to the stadium really early? How early? Should we try to eat before going there? Is there food we can buy from the stands or do we have to go wait in lines? When can we expect to get back to SF? Just so many questions about travel. I'm just not use to using public transit. The anxiety of it all is getting to me today.

Get there early and tailgate. You can just have a big lunch and go if you don't want to get food
