Some of it was time. I see hoping people actually watch videos and after 16-17 min the watch time dive bombs so it was either, cover some more of the run game or try and highlight the great defensive play.

Just a suggestion, but if you are going to make multiple videos on the same game, perhaps divide it up to "Lance plays", and another video for defense, etc. Or, maybe divide it up to 1st half then 2nd half. I think if the aim is to summarize the game, then 1st half, 2nd half makes sense. Personally, I like 1st half 2nd half because that provides a great synopsis of the game. If folks just came to see Lance, then they can search for the relevant portions of the video. Props to your production value. Your videos have come a long way since it looked like John Madden with Parkinsons doing the drawings of the routes.
Great breakdown JD! Your weekly breakdowns is something I look forward toward each week.
I'm excited to see Lance's progress. If he can make strides in early coverage recognition with repetition, he's going to be a great qb for us.
Like I said after the game, from what I saw this game, I know Trey is going to be everything we thought he was going to be. He made some big boy reads and big boy throws this game. He'll be ready to lead this team by next season. He just needs to trust what he sees and let it rip. He won't have the Josh Allen trajectory where he looks like a bust for two seasons.

This is the best case scenario for Trey. He gets peppered in here and there and gets a start here and there because Jimmy's made of glass. But has no pressure from having to win now.

Alex Mack should have retired last season and McGlinchey is average at best. I hope they are brain-dumping Brunskill to be the center because Mack constantly gets blown up.

When someone accuses jonnydel of being a Trey homer, you know the guy is straight down the middle and unbiased.

Just one game, but there's a noticeable difference between the areas where the two QBs are comfortable throwing to. Maybe it looks different if Lance had Kittle.
Jimmy against GB vs Lance against ARI.
Damn was really hoping you'd show the throw from Lance to Aiyuk outside the hash. beautiful stuff.

I think it mainly has to do with the fact that the MOF don't have as clear defined reads vs. the outside. Lance missed a couple of wide-open guys MOF because he locked on to his pre-determined expected 1v1 situations via outside that ended up being zone, thus he would start to slide or run. at least that's what I took away from jd's vid

I think that's exactly why. And I'm fine with that since he's young. Do things that are easier as he gets used to the speed.

Well if he is not bias then , the break down of that play was terrible. Then using a pitch play afterward to compare .

I like watching several breakdown down films. It really gives you a different perspective.,

That still wasn't a direct answer to that run option play. It was a run option all the way. He ran the exact play earlier in the game where he chose to keep the ball instead of handing it off , not gonna go into detail but it was in the 2nd Qt around the 13 min mark . Either way I think your sugar coating . I seen the potential , but I also seen an extreme amount of bad that hopefully will get fixed.,
This has to be the 1st time JD has been accused of being a Trey homer. somebody write this s**t down.

I think it also had to do with being a tad late on a few of those throws and then some missed reads. Could've had 2 or 3 be closer to the hash and then just missed the read on 2 or 3 right over the middle.

Sorry, I was in between stops driving while responding. The film version I got(international) doesn't have time stamps for time in quarter or even down and distance. I had to surmise where we were by what was happening and my memory of the game.

Arizona was also scrape exchanging in some plays, there may have been some poor reads there, but there were some good ones because I remember our run game was hit or miss. We would either go for 8+ or 0 to negative on a lot of plays it seemed.
