Yeah I'm starting to think Mac may have been the smarter move

At least he's showed flashes. More importantly I want those picks back.

Shanahan has missed on all 1st rounders anyways so who cares. Nick Bosa was a lucky pick

Bosa was a godsend but who nkows what the future holds for him as a niner. They may do him like they did Buck.

I mean it will all depend on Trey. If we hit on him then we will be fine. There is a lot of talent still on this team. Just got to fix the secondary And maybe some coaching changes. If we missed on him however then yes we are f**ked for the foreseeable future.

Their track record on players they've traded up for doesn't give me much hope. Mac could do more in this offense than Jimmy does, and we'd still have first rounders. By the time Lance steps up, we may have a different roster.

Mac wasn't going to take this team anywhere either.
shannahan isn't going anywhere. This team is trash with shannahan at the helm. Our super bowl year was an anomaly.

it just keeps getting worse for this regime.... all the bust 1st round picks, not signing brady , losing out on stafford , mac looking like a stud after they mortgage 3 1st round picks, like how many mistakes is this regime gonna get?? f**k last winning coach we had was harbs and we parted with him why? cause jed couldn't get along with him??? like wtf dude had like 4 winnings season 2 nfc championships a superbowl and you let him walk like a complete incompetant owner dumb ass, pls sell this team jed if you care about the 49ers future
Too many injuries, cause as Staley said, or should i paraphrase, practices are soft compared to the Harbaugh years. I feel like Shenanigans has mentally checked out like Harbaugh during his last year. There needs to be change. We cant keep doing this week in and week out. And not sure if Trey Lance is the future or not. Feel like we are boned for the next 3 years.

I'm extremely depressed as you are, but let's give Lance a chance. He's looked promising and we knew he was a project. I've supported Jimmy, but if he were just good enough he would have won tonight. He's not and we need to move on.

The NFL is a week-by-week league and Lance might shock us. It's time to let the kid play.

He was getting stuffed and we made no adjustments save for the one drive.

Those three carries in the 2nd half went 1 yard, 5 yards, 4 yards.

A game like this didn't need 27 pass attempts from the QB when the RB's were moving the ball.
Time to play Lance

Don't get me wrong. I wanted Mac also. And yes In hindsight that is what we sould have done based on what we have seen so far. But we will still be in good shape for the future as long as Trey turns out to be a good QB. If we missed on him then Yes, I see us being bad for years to come

My biggest issue is I don't really believe Kyle can develop a QB at this point so does Lance even have a chance?

Hes done more with less in NE. Adding two first rounders in 2022 and 23 improves this roster markedly. Looks like a high pick in 2022 as well.

If Lance doesn't work out, I'm sorry to say it may be more like 5-7 years to rebuild this thing. Some members may be dead before we have another winning season. If Lance doesn't work out
Miami gonna use our picks to get Watson
