I mean it will all depend on Trey. If we hit on him then we will be fine. There is a lot of talent still on this team. Just got to fix the secondary And maybe some coaching changes. If we missed on him however then yes we are f**ked for the foreseeable future.

Their track record on players they've traded up for doesn't give me much hope. Mac could do more in this offense than Jimmy does, and still have first rounders. By the time Lance steps up, we may have a different roster.

Don't get me wrong. I wanted Mac also. And yes In hindsight that is what we would have done based on what we have seen so far. But we will still be in good shape for the future as long as Trey turns out to be a good QB. If we missed on him then Yes, I see us being bad for years to come

Yeah, and I definitely didn't want Mac. Now, those picks we gave up are gonna be top 10, at least in 2022.

We are who we saw tonight, not who we may think we are. Injuries, penalties, turnovers--all signs of poorly prepared and poorly coached team.

Mac wasn't going to take this team anywhere either.

Hes done more with less in NE. Adding two first rounders in 2022 and 23 improves this roster markedly. Looks like a high pick in 2022 as well.

They're 3-4 and they've played Houston and the Jets twice. Mac has done nothing special.

I'm extremely depressed as you are, but let's give Lance a chance. He's looked promising and we knew he was a project. I've supported Jimmy, but if he were just good enough he would have won tonight. He's not and we need to move on.

The NFL is a week-by-week league and Lance might shock us. It's time to let the kid play.

Im on board with Lance. Have no choice. Buy Mac has been good and add him with the next 2 years of first rounders, may be in better situation going forward. Just sucks right now. Period.

This is true, but at least he looks competent. Jimmy still unsure and mistake prone. As good as AZ and Rams are, won't matter anyway. We are on the same level as Geno Smith led Seattle.

I cant believe this. You could have started the rook against this busted ass Colts team at home and had him thrive. Instead of sacrificed wins because you still live in 2019. Shanahan is a loser

The funny thing is we likely would have gotten Lance or Mac by just staying put. Who was going to draft Lance in the top 10?

That was not on Deebo lol

Huh? Right in his hands and it pops out.

Haha love these excuses. A couple of us know to stay whisper quiet on "you know who" and just blame our best offensive player for everything.

But dude was all over this as the replay shows. What does it matter that it's going to be "on his chest" when the DB is in great position to bat it away the entire time?

The ball was just too late and/or didn't have enough on it.
I think most of us knew we weren't a SB roster. Still we held out hope mainly because of the 2019 season. We thought a healthy Jimmy and innovative playcaller in Shanny would get us past the Rams who got Stafford and the Cards who leveled up this past offseason. That was truly a pipe dream because we are all biased. I was in that boat too. I thought we were elite because of Bosa, Kittle, Mostert (wouldn't have made much of a difference this season), deebo, aiyuk, Warner, etc but our coaching just sucks. Jimmy is not good anymore and I've supported him. This was it everyone.

Sucks for the fans who keep going to these home games lol
Sounds about right.

Exactly, too quick on the draw, no patience.
Shannys legacy is gonna be losing 2 Super Bowls, one in epic fashion. Tom Brady thanks you for calling three consecutive pass plays in FG range and with time running down. Why is this guy so great again?

He don't coach, he only call plays!
I blame Houston Massage Parlors for all these f**king problems.
You win in this league by playing aggressively on offense. Kyle won't because he doesn't trust Jimmy. But he sticks with Jimmy for 5 years, even after spending 3 firsts on a QB. But then he never gives that rookie quarterback reps in our offense, so even when he does get into a game, he has to run him until he's hurt.

This is a predisposed recipe for disaster.

What now? Trade Jimmy immediately to whoever will pay his salary the rest of the year and a bag of chips, Finally start coaching up Trey and name him the starter the rest of the year, try to pick another qb off somebody's practice squad, advise Kyle he's losing the team by blaming players for plays like Juice's under center sneak by saying he had other options when Juice wasn't coached up to know that, and if it doesn't look a lot better by the end of the season, hire Kellen Moore who's leading the league in offense and is Very smart. The only pitfall with that is that Jerry Jones will fire McCarthy to promote Moore himself.
