Weather radar says heaviest rainfall will hit right about game time and will continue through the evening.

Forget about passing. This is going to be an old-fashioned run fest.

I expect the stands to be half filled by halftime.

I don't understand why such a big deal is being made about rain. Is this what the league has come to?

I love a mud fest football game but will this amount of rain mean it becomes water polo?

Good we have a QB who excels at throwing short balls

I don't think he's going to be throwing much of anything in this weather.

But, what do I know?

I just have a feeling that if the 49ers establish the run game early, we're going to be treated to a lot of the same.

a cyclone bomb is what its being called. weather people are the worst at freaking out people, thunderstorms with alot of rain.. big deal.

It's all about where you live. Just got back from Tahoe and the weather was BRUTAL up there. They are right to be worried up there because the fires removed all the ground covering and those mountains are likely to come flowing down with the torrent that is coming down right now. It is raining HARD up there in Tahoe.

At least we have some running backs returning. That gives me some hope.

With how week 7 has played out so far, our 49ers will probably play their best game of the season. I'm not holding my breath.

Cause SF fans are pussies. Sun, rain, and wind scares them. Expect the stands to be empty today but the luxury suites will be packed.
The aviation weather forcast for SJC has it going from light rain before 6pm to heavy rain after 6 and continuing until 10, and the winds out of the south at 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots for that period. Heavy rain in the FAA vernacular means just that.

Heck, nobody's going to be throwing deep tonight. Might help us.
