Who gets fired first, Kyle or John?

It's clear that Kyle was not - and still is not - ready to be a HC in the NFL. He ascended because playcallers were in high demand following the success of McVay with the Rams, but Kyle doesn't possess the same qualities that make McVay successful. Given we are in year 5 now, it looks like Kyle won't learn or change here.

McVay and Shanahan were both hired as HCs in the same offseason, genius.

This. McVay was also a candidate for the 49ers job until he dropped out to interview with the Rams. Also dont forget that McVay walked into a better situation. They had talent on the team. The Niners were a complete rebuild because Baalke couldn't draft.

No way will it be Lynch. You fire Lynch now, that is not going to help you win games.

Right now the problem lies in Shanny, he can't even call a complete game.

Either way, we will have to wait till the end of the season before we could talk to anyone.

But, I am sure Shanny will at the very least get another year to make it work with Lance, failing that his earliest firing/departure date will be after the 2022 season.

If he can stabilizes the Qb position with Trey - I think he can survive. We have a number of our starters out, so that should help, once they come back.
They extended both like last year, he's not going anywhere for at the very least three more years unless he slaps York in the face

Lance is not ready. May be with one more offseason he could be, but right now, no.

What other starters are there? Our WR corps is overrated.

As far as this season goes, expect a complete write-off. You can see in Shanny's face he has lost his mojo already. The only thing that worked today were the scripted plays in the first drive. That's about it! If he is not careful, he may just lose the locker room if this carries on. When was the last time we lost 4 straights?

I can see the 9ers returning to the dark ages for the foreseeable future, at least for the remainder of this season. He better hope and pray Lance will be able to come out firing all cylinders come the start of next season.

Losing can make ownerships do just about anything.

3 years you say? Do you honestly think Jed will have the patience to watch the 9ers lose 3 more years? I don't think so somehow. The boo birds were already came out in this game, the fans will let Jed know. 3 years?! No way!

I'm not talking about this season - I mean the next 3 years as far as developing Trey. He should be given time.

Having already endured 3 out of 4 losing seasons, not including this one, under Kyle.

Say what you will about McVay, but he's been excellent the whole time at the Rams. And he had Jared Goff.

With Kyle it's always excuses.

3 years? No way. He will have to show flashes by next season, at most the 9ers can only endure one more losing season max. By the end of 2022, we would have been through 5 losing seasons out of 6. That will be the absolute limit.

I'm talking developing into a Super Bowl Qb. He's not going to be there in a years time. He should build up to it, along with the rest of the team.

They both should have been fired after spoon was drafted 66, kamara was drafted 67 and kupp drafted 69 in the 2017 draft.

Didn't Shanny just get an extension?! What a mistake
Kyle first. But we still have 2 seasons minimum.
The "Kyle Shenanigans SHIP" has run aground. Its time to go. Kyle is his own worst enemy. The team and organization is a mess right now. Time for a purge!
