Shanahan actually ignoring bears game largely because they don't really concern him- "guys'll be open underneath all day" he says to himself. "I'll just keep a tight leash on Jimmy and get Dwelley and Juice super involved, and stuff".

I think the 49ers win. 27-14. This team is not horrible. They are not great. They are a .500 team. Fields is confused and has a long way to go.And that what kills me about shanahan. He is bringing mediocrity. To me, being average is worse than being bad. See Marvin Lewis.

Looks like Kinlaw may need season ending surgery. If it can fix the problem then I say fine. This year isn't looking promising anyway so hopefully he can be healthy next year.
