Eh. Bears didn't punt once until Herbert got injured. He clearly wasn't the same when he returned. For all the focus on the secondary, it's pretty scary how badly this defense struggles to stop the run.

We are missing a lot of defensive linemen and LBs (and corners and safeties for that matter). It's not that big of a surprise considering that.

yes fields is faster, that was never in question

Maybe not top end speed but he has that suddenness to his game and we simply don't have enough tape on Lance to definitively say he's on par.

But you gotta remember Fields just came off of playing a full season w/Ohio State and facing Alabama in a national title game,....whereas Lance played what amounted to a scrimmage and really had no season last year.

Not very surprising that Fields would've probably looked better if they both faced off today. One guy's been getting massive reps and the other guy hasn't.

Its not but still, you have to play the games and there likely isn't help coming anytime soon. These are the issues you wind up with when you blow so many early picks.

First game in while that the Niners looked like they were having fun! Great game by McGlinch. Jimmy didn't have any disastrous throws. Aiyuk got involved. Kyle got out of his funk.

I disagree with this. But that was a game-winning INT. He has every right to showboat there, so I'm cool with it.

Making a tackle after a 3 yard gain though? Get yo butt back to the huddle. Nothing special about that play.

I'd say there's a difference between celebrating and showboating though. A little excited celebratory action after a tackle or after a 5 yard run is cool with me.

Showboating after a game changing play, every time please. Even if it's against us.

That 4th and 1 run for a TD was pretty scary. Even more frightening was how he just literally ran a circle around Bosa to beat him around the edge. If Fields becomes a quality pocket passer, he could become a taller version of Russell Wilson.

When is Greenlaw, Kittle, Wilson, Hurst, Tartt, and Ford due back ? If all could be back by the Rams game it'll be great, next week Murray might be out.
