Jimmy G came up big, Fields impressed me, he can run but at the same time, he was elusive in the pocket. It feels damn good to get a W.
Fields has been crap this year outside the 1st half of todays game.
Fields had the one touchdown because Armstead missed a tackle. Fields was not good today lol
He was pretty good. They didn't punt a single time until midway through the 3rd.
175 yds, 1 td, 1 INT against a D that couldn't get out of its own way.
He also had 100 yards rushing and a rushing TD. The int was basically a desperation throw after the game was over. He looked accurate and wasn't holding onto the ball like he has in the past.
So we're praising the other teams mobile QB and not the air yard QB with 300 yards and a win?
Interesting.

Esp. given your "study" was from 1984 when there was 1 mobile QB. Now there are a lot. Time to update to reality.

Much needed win, gimpy Kyler next week .....
If he plays at all. High ankle sprain for a mobile QB is rough.
Mobile QB's don't get injured.
Need to be mobile like Wilson where running is the absolute last resort.

Yeah I just read that. I'm hoping we hit on some of these rookies.
Research on NFL quarterback injuries compiled by injury coordinator John Verros at Sports Info Solutions shows the risk of a quarterback being injured on a designed run is remote — only one for every 236 plays.
The risk for a scrambling quarterback is almost equal to the quarterback who is sacked: once every 91.7 plays for the scrambler, once every 92.5 plays for the guy getting sacked.
The most dangerous play category Verros discovered is the knockdown; the quarterback who is taken to the ground while unleashing a pass, as when the Jaguars' Nick Foles suffered a broken clavicle after being struck while releasing a pass against the Chiefs. That player is hurt once every 67.3 plays.
"I believe the risk of a running QB being more prone to injury in comparison to a pocket passer is overstated by many analysts," Verros told SN. "One caveat would be that a running QB will attempt so many rushes per game that the sheer volume will still put him at an increased risk."

Murray has taken his biggest beatings in the pocket. He rarely takes a big hit while he's out on the run. Got that pro level baseball slide and everything.

Yeah that's a paradox of them also them knowing the can run. So they look downfield more hoping to find an open guy and end up holding it too long.

It's almost as if extreme exaggerations legitimately make great points on here.
Is it me or does that say 2020??

Whoo! Victory! Hopefully we can trade the bust Lance (2nd worst Niners draft pick ever after A.J. Jenkins) for a second. Jimmy trained under Brady. Keep him till he's 50.
Who's got it better than us? Nobody!!!!!
Lance a bust?? After one game under his belt?? Get the hella outta here
Add him to your block list. All he does is post inciting b******t
Trey is more athletically gifted than Fields. Fields throws a great ball.
