Probably shouldn't quote myself, but I've only just seen the Packers @ Chiefs game.

I thought Love played about as well as could be expected, sure he missed a couple of throws, but he got caught out by Spags doing things to him on the blitz that he's never seen.

The thing that was obvious to me is that he can't learn that by watching Rodgers, as no one would ever try to do that to Rodgers.

Granted Jimmy isn't Rodgers, but a defensive game plan wouldn't be remotely similar playing against the two. You might get some similar looks in the play action game with the D biting on certain run fakes, but that is such a small benefit.

I want to see Trey ASAP, let him see how DC's attack him, he can digest that film and then he'll be much better for it

Better to let him sit. For how long depends on the player but they need to at least see good work ethic and how to prepare and react during certain situations.

Any other advice they can get without the pressure of winning or losing will also benefit in the long run.

The slowly mixing them in so they can get used to the other players tendencies will also benefit.

If you have no protection you can easily ruin a good QB by throwing him in to early. This happened to both rg3 and luck. They just got pounded way too much.
you could argue this for smith and gabbert as well.

If you can't protect them you can ruin their entire career by throwing them in too early.

You spent 3 first round picks for this guy. You're not making the playoffs. The other guy isn't coming back next season. What are they waiting for ???...PLAY HIM!!!😡

If they lose on Monday, that should be the final nail on the coffin for Jimmy. I'd be shocked, if Kyle doesn't name Trey the starter, the remainder of the season.
