Looking at it, I expect the Saints to slowly drop off....and the only threats for the 6th and 7th seeds to be the Falcons and Vikings.

The Falcons seem to be the team to reach... The Vikes have a team that can play anywhere, and have had a tough schedule (check that, their whole season is tough). So maybe the Vikes slip up as well. Falcons have had an easy schedule, but will face tougher teams going forward. We have games against both of them. If we can at least win those two games, we might have a small chance, if we win our other winnable games.

I've been pretty optimistic about making the playoffs but honestly this team doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs. Once Russel Wilson comes back I assume they will surge to the 7 seed.
The real question is how high Miami's first round pick ends up being.

Houston is very curious about this
Next game against the Rams will be a blowout loss, of ritual sodomy like proportions. That will thankfully put an end to this wasted season.
This franchise has become a complete joke. The added loss of draft picks makes it even more painful

And I will be there to witness such sodomy in person… should be glorious.
You're forgetting the team that will make the playoffs. The Seahawks.
I had a lot of faith this team was going to turn it around and fight for that spot but I was wrong.
Playoffs? You gotta be kidding... I'm just hoping we don't get blown out by Jacksonville!

Dang, didn't realize Russ can come back this week. And the Packers might not have Aaron back by then. I believe he can be back with the team on Saturday.... but him with no practice is still better than Jordan Love. So Aaron will probably start...but might be rusty vs the Seahawks and a pumped up Wilson.

We'll see.
I'm not giving up on season until we are eliminated. Offense still has promise. Intense remedial coaching needed on Defense. Still a chance to put it together.

I am with you WestCoast. Half way though the season and it is not unprecedented to go from 3-5 to playoffs. The extra playoff spot and parody in this league, we still have a shot at the playoffs. Although team is undisciplined and looking like s**t right now. The Kittle and Aiyuk fumbles killed us early on and the inability to get turnovers (Warner let that slip away yesterday) is killing us too.
Lol playoffs.
