I thought Jeff Wilson Jr. blew out his knee in practice this week? Highly doubt he plays. Jimmie too. Basically I.R. players dressed up but not being officially on I.R.

When did he blow out his knee?

Maybe aggravated the injury. This week there was a report of him walking off the field with a trainer and he had his head down.

Regarding #49ers RB Jeff Wilson Jr. — I saw him leave practice with trainers but wasn't listed on post-practice report — he had a "scare" but things checked out OK and he should practice today, Kyle Shanahan said on KNBR just now

It's like the Rams are clairvoyant. Sign OBJ and 2 days later Woods tears up his knee.

I've got aiyuk. He's coming around, niners offense isn't as s**tty as the defense. Shanahan will undoubtedly pass when he should be running. Aiyuk will have 80 yards and a td.

Nothing was officially stated as such (unless I totally missed something) but I listened carefully during pressers this week whenever the topic of new starting RT was brought up with either Shanahan, McDaniel or TW. Context seemed to strongly indicate Moore taking over which is the right move. I will be disgusted at the very least if I see Compton out there on the first series. There's literally no point to him starting over JM. I'd rather see a rookie with a s**t ton more upside making mistakes than a mediocre journeyman doing probably even worse. BTW my opinion a rookie should currently be starting RT doesn't apply to the QB situation (yet). I'm fine with Jimmy G continuing to start unless they lose this next game. Then they should switch to Trey.
