SF 49ERS vs LA Rams pregame thread - 2021 Week 10

I'm surprised there are so many people in here doubting that we'll win. It's the Rams, we never lose to them. As long as Jared Goff is there we'll dominate that team.

LA was just embarrassed by Tenn. Jimmy knocked out before 2nd quarter and Stafford hangs a 50 spot on us. Kyle and John completely f**ked this up in the last 18 months. Players are rallying around Jimmy not Kyle. Locker room is fubar at this point

We are toast on Sunday. I have no confidence in the coaching of this team.

I know I really want to be optimistic about this game, but damn. That showing against the Cards wasn't just a bad game. It was a true culmination of what we've all been seeing and it reared its ugly head this past Sunday.

Hopefully the Cards game was that real nasty fight you have with your wife or girlfriend. The one where you put it all out there and talk about how you're in your early 40s and gave up so much of your youth for the other person. The fight where you mention her sister twice and she states she's slept with your 3rd best friend John on that camping trip in Montana 2 years ago after you passed out. You raise your fist at her, but you don't hit women. But man in this moment you want to. You refrain and both lock eyes for a solid minute watching her makeup run from all the crying. You start to choke up and tell her you're sorry for everything. She breaks down and admits she still loves you and that she's sorry for making you feel bad every time you want to do something without her. She admits she would put you on guilt trips as you left the door for your once in a while guys night out. You embrace her face and have a long loving kiss followed by the best makeup sex you two have ever had since you both got married at 21.

I hope that's what we do to the Rams this week. We had our falling out this past weekend and we own the Rams this Monday Night.

If the Niners beat the Rams on Monday they are certifiably dysfunctional, and it would piss me off more than if they simply lose in uneventful fashion.
I'll get over it, but it would be concerning for a minute.
I wouldn't know how to process it.

I already paid my friend a bet. I might even watch. More I njuries, 50 burger, turn overs, PIs, and Shanahan forgetting to run the ball. No thanks.

I think it will end up being a closer score than most expect. But, I think this is because the Rams will gain a huge lead, proceed to take their foot off the gas, while the 49ers wake up (late, as usual), putting up a chunk of points late, when the game is already out of reach.

No well get blown out with no maybes. For the same reason as last week. Crappy tackling and defense with more gaps than a convicts resume.

Why even bother.

At least with chip kelly and tomsula i expected it.
