No way out until we get rid of the Yorks.

My solution is
1. put Trey in. Move Jimmy on or to the side
2. Give the coaching time to learn like Salah could.
3. Stop bringing in injury history players in key roles.
4. Lower the expectation and encourage senior players to be leaders.
5. Stop the arrogant BS and stick to designing and calling plays Mr Shanahan.
6. Train harder and encourage discipline in everyone.
7. Get rid of yes men in the staff.
8. Tell Paraag to back off and keep in your lane.
9. Get better S&C staff.
10. Let J Lynch be a GM or move him to another PR role.

1. Should have come in after the bye

2. If you're referring to D. Ryans I'll listen (but I still think he's in over his head). What this team needs is a veteran, old school Assistant HC to actually run the TEAM while Shanny concentrates on offense, because clearly Shanny isn't a complete HC.

3.

4. No! Raise expectations and draft/bring in leaders

5. No!! Shanny needs to be a complete HC.

6. See #2

7.

8.

9. You think?

That's fair.
2 yes Ryans. ST coach needs to go.
4 was thinking the leadershipo would raise it in time
5 Agree just could not word it properly
6 Still firm on this one if what Staley said is true
9 Something seems wrong in that department. Can't just be voodoo dolls.

I would say bottom out but that's impossible with no first round picks. Plus this team will still have cornerstones in Bosa, Warner, Kittle, and Deebo….although, if we had our 1sts in 22 I'd move Trent and Kittle in the off-season.
The biggest problem in my eyes is they used up draft capital to acquire Lance. The consolidation of assets for a franchise qb is a great move, I just think they took the absolute wrong guy.
Soooo if it was me and I had full autonomy, If strip it down, meaning trading Lance, Williams and Deebo and finding a whole new identity on offense. But, realistically, you just have to hope Lance is the real deal and you have to hit on at least 3 or 4 picks over the next two years for impact and others for depth. We have a lot of fringe nfl talent supplying depth right now.

You only think they took the wrong guy because you wanted Mac Jones. They didn't take Jones, for which most of us were very grateful, and you can't stop moaning about it. It is not that Lance is the wrong guy. We don't know the answer to that one yet. But trading Deebo is I think one of the dumbest suggestions I have seen.

Time, I think, to bring Lance into the games for development. Time to bring in a couple of leaders, like Sherman and Staley were, to provide vet leadership on the field and in the locker room. Time to sack the ST coach.

Time to stop bringing in players prone to injury and time for the webzone to stop moaning when they pass on such players.

Actually, the lack of 1st round picks isn't so bad. We have the 1st round player position covered with Lance, Deebo, Aiyuk, and Bosa. We need to concentrate on the O line and the defensive backfield, and with a good pass rush from the D line these needs can be covered in the mid rounds of the draft.

This season is painful and disappointing, but not the end of the world. And by the way, you can't fire your owners. And by the way, there is no reason to believe that they are responsible for this situation.

Getting injuried players back would help a lot.

Not many on that IR list coming back this year. Long couple of years ahead it seems.

Oh, I'm not talking about this year. I'm talking about next year, when hopefully many will be back and we can start fresh with Trey at the helm.

Fix the Oline and run the ball. The offensive foundation is based off of run and play action but with a s**t ball Oline that doesn't give the QB enough time to drop back your screwed. Defensive side of the ball will just take time because of injuries and bad coaching. You need to start the rookies on Defense though

Our window was always going to start once Jimmy leaves.
My 2 cents solutions :

- from an owner perspective :
During season : maybe block the GM to trade any player of significance (be advised for that) if you think of making a bold move during offseason (see below)
During offseason : bold move is to fire Lynch and Shanahan, conservative move is to keep hem another year (no improvement) or two (improvements in 2022)
AND at all cost stay out of the rest anytime
AND don't talk to the media anytime but to announce firing and hiring of GM / HC

- from a GM one :
Positively 100% Alignement with HC on overall philosophy (upgrade within you roster first = give the opportunity to your rookies to show their value and to practice squad guys to be part of the 53 if you loose guys on IR) AND any roster moves
During season : stop acquiring players (unless roster depleted) and dont trade anybody unless the deal is too good to be true ( players with hefty salary that dont play to their level) ; release any toxic player that isn't par with your culture and standards ; identify players you wont keep in offseason to play the rookies
During offseason : regain salary cap as much as possible = cut or trade those same players you kept already too long ; trade down in the draft to acquire more picks AND dont pick anyone with suspicious history (medical, personal) ; have a green day with HC and his new coaching staff (see below) and all your scouts to identify how you'll work forward and be 100% aligned on how to evaluate players for every position group and what to look for ; if you think injuries is like a curse on you hire a voodoo priest, if not make a change at the top of the department

- from an HC one :
During season : play the rookies at the spot of players you wont retain ; only call plays that get you maximum level of execution even if that means you shorter your game plan and become a little more predictible = put your players in a position to win ; be accountable : take absolutely all the blame ; read a book about emotional intelligence and take advice about that : your leadership skills will skyrocket
During offseason : assess every player with every position coach ; assess every coach and fire those who underperforms with their group ; if you watch NCAA film then understand at any cost why a scout doesn't evaluate the same as you ; trust your scouting department… or have a conversation with the GM about making changes and identify those

Don't overreact. The jury is out on the centerpiece in Lance but the team has some things to work with in Deebo, Kittle, T Williams, Bosa, Warner. Bringing in someone proven opposite Deebo should be a priority. Corner has to be our top focus though.

Shanny is on the ropes but now is not the time to can him. I wouldn't mind changing philosophies on d though. We lost Saleh, couldn't keep that d line together, the talent isn't there to box yourself into sticking with the formula.

Not drafting/signing/Re-signing them would be even better.

We've been saying for years, "next year, with a healthy ________ this team looks really good".

McG has been bad at pass pro even when he's healthy and Lance isn't gonna fix that.

Brunskill has also been a turnstile and again,, Lance isn't gonna fix that.

Mack is getting long in the tooth and we have no development behind him..

Our young secondary can't beat out Dre Kirkpatrick.....

Mostert has never gone more than 8 games without getting hurt.

We have injury history and lackluster showing at the safety spot.

Our 1sr round DT to replace Buckner has chronic knee issues and just started ACL reconstruction and most likely won't be fully ready until NEXT November.

We have no 2nd DE and they've continues to rely on Ford who also can't go more than 4 games without injury.

Kittle has missed almost as much time as Jimmy.

I just don't believe we'll be all sparkly and fresh with Trey. If anything, I see the next 24 months as quite awful. It's really starting to suck being a 9er fan again......

Hard for me to see Kyle lasting beyond next November.
