Shanahan needs to be a better coach in terms of every phase of the coaching position.. Mainly clock management and development of the young players (if he could he'd have a whole team of veterans) and stay away from injury prone players.. Draft the best player and make it fit.. Get Juice more involved and line him up all over the field and keep your feet on opponents necks to stop them from coming back and make better decisions, f**k, we should've never traded Buckner😠

I'm not sure how you can blame Jed for any of this.

I thought he learned from his mistakes with Harbaugh and he's not meddling with any of the operations as far as I know.

Having said that… I think they need to find a way to make our stadium more indoors. It's BS they made a brand new stadium that doesn't keep in noise.

I think something some of the fanbase is guilty of (many fanbases, not just the 49er fanbase) is overrating and underrating their coaches/players too quickly. Shanahan balling in 2019 suddenly is Bill Walsh, and then him coming down to earth a bit , he's garbage. Same thing happened with Garoppolo, Kaepernick, etc. f**k we're seeing it with Kittle and Warner now FFS......

I have to ask fans of other teams whose opinion on football I respect for their opinion on the 49ers, because it's too negative right now in here.
When The FO come out and talk about how SB ready the team is in the lead up to the season is why fans are so hot right now.
I think they believed their own ju ju at the crap table of player evaluation.
Then they dish out what we have been watching.
What do you expect the fans to do? Be as soft as the coaching is? Not acceptable man.
Now they have to give away free seats to a game to make them not look so bad to the world.
Spare me please.

Get rid of Paraag and his Oakland A's mentality. I don't think it matters who the GM is since they all seem to adhere to Paraag's analytics team at the end of the day.

Yep. It is always the "they" men secretly hiding away and scheming BS that undermines the whole vibe of a place. The vibe has been at best erratic and at worst depressing while he has been there.

Don't blame them for how you feel. They would have been trying to win the best way they knew how.
Which leads to me agreeing with the rest with the amazement that many still give these guys a pass or a "wait and see".
They literally hail maryed the whole franchise on a revenge type trip for SB loss. Whiffed and now trying to patch it up.
Immature leadership on all fronts.

team sucks, they cant turn it around. when you get destroyed by the cardinals backups, theres no turning this around. the 49ers are dogs**t.

The s**tty thing is we have the players to win! We have the talent! We just don't have accountability and horrible communication and coaching is whats making it difficult to win.

So put your armchair GM and HC hat on and get creative.

My solution is
1. put Trey in. Move Jimmy on or to the side
2. Give the coaching time to learn like Salah could.
3. Stop bringing in injury history players in key roles.
4. Lower the expectation and encourage senior players to be leaders.
5. Stop the arrogant BS and stick to designing and calling plays Mr Shanahan.
6. Train harder and encourage discipline in everyone.
7. Get rid of yes men in the staff.
8. Tell Paraag to back off and keep in your lane.
9. Get better S&C staff.
10. Let J Lynch be a GM or move him to another PR role.

#3 is one of THE biggest reasons and has been even going back to the Harbaugh years....Marcus Lattimore anyone???
