Bless you for even doing it!

Fans wonder why we're the 2nd most injured team 8 years running yet still have Superbowl expectations annually.

The definition of insanity is... ^ this exact roster.
Imagine how much worse we would be replacing 22 players in one off-season.
so get rid of everyone except Trey & Bosa

same energy as that thread is my problem
Mostert is injury prone too, all of our RB's are. Just the way it is.
I like our team. Need better guard play. Would be nice if the rook corners took a big step forward into 2022. All this roster stuff means about 50% of the equation. The other 50% comes down to #5 Trey Lance. The difference between him becoming say a Josh Allen type versus becoming say a Blake Bortles type will define our future.
I doubt they get rid of Dontae Johnson.

LOL. We should do another of who we expect them to keep.
I know it's frustrating about Kinlaw but it would be dumb to get rid of him right now due to where he was drafted, his talent. And how cheap he is right now. You are not going to get anything for him in a trade right now. There is nothing to gain by trading him and everything to lose. Plus we are seing how bad our run defense is without him.

I would only trade Greenlaw if he is looking for a huge payday and if a team is offering a high pick.
- Jimmy frees up a lot of money

- Ford needs to be cut regardless of how minimal the savings might be

- Ebukam saves a lot of money if cut. He's been healthy, but he's not someone you want to be paying 8mil.

- Moseley would save about 5mil but with Tartt, Verrett, K Williams all off contract and questionable to return I'm not sure cutting him as well is the answer.

- Gould won't save us a cent. 5mil dead money and you still have to go out and replace him.

Not sure there's much more that we can do. I think we have a few guys who get re-signed, but hopefully more as depth than being relied on to start.

12 - Injury Prone & 10 - Garbage

Hold on, you'd dump Greenlaw? He had one injury, he played 2 seasons without any major injuries, he ended up with a bad break. Kinlaw isn't going anywhere whether people like it or not, you lose money cutting him, and we need every penny in 2022 because the cap won't be going up higher than $208.2M, I already have up as much as $11.206M over the cap once they fill out the top 51.

Again, same thing with Gould, his deal is fully GTD, he had an injury, idk how many times he's been injured, but missing 3 games isn't being injury prone.

Same with Hasty, high ankle sprains suck, they can happen at any time, you bring him back because he's young and inexpensive, if he sucks in camp, you cut him.

Sorry but Mack isn't garbage, he has crap on his right side in Brunskill who's best suited as a Swing Tackle, Mack isn't the problem, plus Laken, while I like him, is subpar at best in pass protection.

Some of these guys I agree who shouldn't be back, like Skule, & James, aren't injury prone when this is the first season to my knowledge that they were hurt.

Dee Ford I'm 50/50 on, I like him, but he can't stay healthy.

I agree with pretty much the rest, except Hurst, I want to see what he can do.
You have these players still currently putting their health on the line for your entertainment, but you want to use the word "dump".

Straight objects for yall. But u beg for autographs or photos if you come across them.

Let's just call them "unreliable" whether it's poor play or injury history or injury future.

Last year we had 45 players hit I.R. (just I.R.); not including all the others that didn't go on I.R. but missed games. We're actually on track to have MORE than that with 9 games to go (26-28).

For those objective fans, try this exercise. Simply bold the players below you feel you can rely on for health + quality play. WARNING: Please consult a therapist immediately after this exercise.

Special Teams:

Shon Coleman isn't on the roster, he was waived off IR earlier this season with an injury settlement, same with Tim Harris. Also Kendricks was cut.

Of the guys you list, I'd keep Trey, Mitchell, Hasty, Sermon, Juice, Deebo, Aiyuk, Jennings, Kittle, Woerner, Mack, Brunskill, Laken, Trent, McGlinchey, Moore, Banks, Armstead, Bosa, Ebukam, Key, Willis, Omenihu, Kinlaw, Street, Givens, Hurst, Jones, Greenlaw, Warner, Al-Shaair, Moseley, Ambry, Lenoir, K'Waun, Ward, Hufanga, Moore, Gould, Wish, & Pepper, so that's 41 players I'd keep around for 2022 and possibly beyond as core players.

I'd jettison the following, Jimmy, Sudfeld, Mostert, Cannon, Hurd, Compton, Harris, D.Johnson, Norman, Kirkpatrick, Tartt, & Wilson.

Unsure of the following, J.Wilson, Sanu, Sherfield, Brendel, Skule, Dee, Flannigan-Fowles.

Exactly, they put their life/health on the line for a game, yes many make millions, but some only make the league minimum, plus the fact that they don't bring home every bit of that money, they pay taxes for where they live, play, plus 401K, and other stuff.
