As for Verrett, Idk, I'm a bit tired of re-signing him, for him to just get hurt, we signed him in 2019, he gets hurt quickly, done for season, 2020 he played nearly every game, people say multi year deal, up to $10M a yr, I said hell no, no one is giving him that, 2021 plays 1 game, if it's vet minimum then ok, but nothing more than that.

Nice list AB. Agree with almost all of it. The only difference would be 2 guys who are the same age and both riddled with injuries/IR. I would get rid of Ford and put Verrett on the 50/50. If healthy (and of course that's a big if), and given our current cb corps, I think Jason fills a bigger void on this team than Dee. Thomas and Lenoir would have to make an impact the rest of the season, for me to want to outright nix Verrett.

I think we need to find some money and sign a very very very good free agent even if jason comes back.. so tired of us pinning our hopes on a guy who we hope stays healthy. gets hurt and then we are wishing for the days of jason webster and his sprained ankles to come back

I don't disagree. It's just that I expected us to sign a good (didn't even have to be a 3x very) free agent this past off-season and they neglected to do that. Instead, drafted quantity over quality (with Banks over Samuel) and they haven't sniffed the field.

Are they allowed to smile or wave (in a restrained fashion) ?
we should fire the whole Strength and Conditioning staff. At this point, Its not just the players, its gotta be how they're trained and probably fed. Sure we drafted/signed some guys with injury history, but all of those little lingering soft tissue injuries seems like a combination of the new NFLPA practice rules and how the team in general practices and trains. It seems like they barely even hit each other anymore, even in TC.

Mohamed Sanu Sr. - Garbage
Tavon Wilson - Garbage
Dee Ford - Injury Prone

Raheem Mostert - Injury Prone
Justin Skule - Injury Prone

12 - Injury Prone & 10 - Garbage

They're not going to cut Greenlaw or Kinlaw or Mack, who could well decide to retire. Unless someone else steps up they'll hold onto Brunskill because they like his versatility. I doubt that Hasty has anything to worry about either but you never know. Everyone else on the list is either a backup or one year rental, except for Ford who I imagine they will cut ties with.

The wave at a football game is stupid. Come on they do that s**t in LA. Not up here. That's amateur hour 😀. Get a beach ball going folks! You don't see the wave at Giants games. But Dodgers and Rams games you get it in abundance

Agree. And it's so ironic considering the ownership is so knowledgeable from a medical standpoint.

I know we've had our differences, disagreements, but agreed, we need to sign a top level CB, or someone up and coming, we can get the money from redoing Kittle($8.332M saved) & AA($10.424M)

Yeah, none of those 3 are going anywhere, people need to be patient with Kinlaw, plus we'd lose room by cutting him. As for Mack, why cut him? I think he's done a good job. As for Dre, 2 healthy years(2019 & 2020), and 1 bad luck week 1, he aint injury prone.

we gain cap space from Jimmy not being here next year. we might rework AA's contract as we can cut him in 2022 (option year) without getting hit that much

I think we will be able to load up well next year and fairly easy

The cap room gained from Jimmy which will be $24.845M right now, will really be more like $15.543M to $13.712M depending on if Deebo makes the pro bowl or not, this is all due to the Proven Performance Escalator(it'll add on $1.531M to Dre, Omenihu & Wishnowsky's base salaries, and either $351,360 to Deebo if he doesn't make the pro bowl, if he does, it'll add on $1,882,640), and they're already gonna be around $4.657M over a projected $208.2M cap, this is with 51 players signed, they have 31 signed, with 5 ERFAs(Hasty, Jennings, McKivitz, Givens, & Flannigan-Fowles), all will be tendered, plus they'll sign most of their practice squaders to reserve/future deals.

So, by redoing Kittle & AA, you gain $18.756M, it adds $1,666,640 to Kittle's 2023-2025 cap numbers, and $2,084,800 to AA's 2023-2024 cap numbers, which is minimal IMO, we're not gonna be releasing AA, that whole Option Year thing wasn't an option year at all, it was an option bonus, which was GTD, had they declined it, $7.5M would have been added to his 2021 base salary, it's similar to how they gave Kittle one for this year, and others.
