I said this last night--this game will speak volumes about the state of the 49ers.

The win last night over the Rams is hard for me to evaluate. Did the 49ers play an excellent game? Yep. In all phases. Did the Rams s**t the bed? Yep. In all phases. Hard for me to take much from the game, given that.

The 49ers need to build off last night. They need to be consistent. They need to win. You build off last night, then you build off this game. You continue to do that and the sky is the limit. That's brick by brick.
