Great is an overused word here. There's an entire world of words between bad and great. This was a decent-good game from Jimmy, but again, he didn't need to do a whole lot. He has avoided the dumb turnovers recently, which is a positive development.

The 49ers have such a great supporting cast on offense and once the 49ers find a more dynamic QB, we will all see what we've, as a fan base, been missing out on. I don't mind Jimmy G but we have so much talent on offense to just kind of hope for penalties to keep drives alive.

I'm enjoying watchin a good win against an EZ team but I sure disagree w/ Shanahan for not letting TL gets some important experience - as in for the entire 4th Qtr (which was nothing but garbage time anyway)! Instead he only gets the last set of downs. So Garoppolo was unnecessarily risked to injury well after the game was decided & TL got next to NO experience. In my humble opinion, as re. the QB situation, Shanahan is a Dunce!!
