Great win today, should've been a win and we blew them out. We looked like a playoff team should look, taking care of business in deciding fashion vs a bad team.

Can the season be nailed to one phrase, "We forgot who we are". We are all about the run. We about the grind, complementary football. The first games of the season we forgot that.

I give this game a weak b.

Our best rusher was deebo samuel. we're not going to far with that.

jimmy missed a bunch of throws in the red zone, plus a twisty 3rd down miss to deebo. our oline didn't look great.

kittle was our go to guy for the 4th year in a row.

I didn't see alot of clever scheming. some ineffective run concepts and no chunk runs for the second week in a row (without mitchell).

Not impressed by sermon. Wilson not a lead back either when the d is well prepared.

Jimmy gets blame but kyle also needs to do better play calling and showing new misdirection concepts and sending jimmy on roll outs.

He needs to hire a passing play designer because I don't think he is so good wit6h that.

He blames jimmy every time something doesn't work but its more complicated than that.

Play design was fine. Jaguars have a talented defense, it's that simple. Not so great on the back end, but they are 12th against the run I think.

they lost two starters in theb backfield and kyle continued with his 2 rush 1 pass game plan. No effective air concepts on 2 and 9.8.7.

i think that's a problem. Shanny needs to hire coryell or norv as an advisor.

jimmy didn't look great but redemmed everything, again, due to no turnovers or reach plays.

But again i think the game plan is affecting qb play wether it be jimmy or anyone else. There's something about it I can't put my finger on.

Shanahan calls the passes Jimmy is best at.

I don't know. I don't have an answer. Watching Jimmy throw the ball over a literally wide open Jeff Wilson to me means something isn't working. I don't know what it is but the two guys need to get it straightened out. I mean Kyle and Jimmy

What parts make it a B? This review sounds like and F

We Just annihilated the Jags though

UUrban Meyer didn't have time to prepare for Kyle Shanahan's gimmicky offense. My problem is that we shouldn't have needed gimmicks to beat these guys. We should have just had smart route Concepts that tore open their second stringers. And we didn't go that way we stayed with the crazy complicated multi shift All Hands take a body blocking Run game. I think that concerns me when we play good teams

I think you have the final score confused, we won 30-10 not the other way around.
I don't think McGlinchey should be back next year. Jaylon Moore has shown he's solid and can develop to be even better. We know what 69 has to offer this far into his career

So the 49ers were too fancy with that winning game plan? That's a new one.

"Don't need gimmicks, use smart route concepts instead" what does that mean?

100% he will be back. We picked up 5th year option.

I'd like to see them try him at right guard.

It means find a way to script a chunk play off of rookie second string corner and safety. That's what it means. I also think that lining up deebo in the backfield is a tell that. Coaches who are better than Urban Meyer will exploit

Defense is coming around too.

It's a mixed bag.

#1 The defense wasn't playing anywhere close to how they've been playing the last couple of games. That changes things.

#2 Unless the level of defense steps goes up yet another notch vs. better competition, this method of football isin't going to realistically take us all the way, and the HC has been trying to change that.

I don't think he sacrificed games earlier in the year for not incorporating this brand of ball. That makes for a good storyline that reassures us of our team, but the reality is lately we've been playing better. It happens. Don't overdo it and get some nostalgic ideas that it's 2019 all over again.
