SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS - 2021 Week 11

We should have just had smart route Concepts that tore open their second stringers. And we didn't go that way we stayed with the crazy complicated multi shift All Hands take a body blocking Run game. I think that concerns me when we play good teams

Did you feel like this when the Niners were on the way to the Super Bowl ❓

100% he will be back. We picked up 5th year option.

Maybe some bottom feeder team can take his salary from us? I just happen to think the 49ers seem to be playing better without him.

Defense is coming around too.

Nick bosa is a wrecking ball. Is that what you mean?

Arden has 3 sacks, a career high for him.

Jaylon Moore has played one game, lets see him play a few more games before we crown him.

I give this game a weak b.

Our best rusher was deebo samuel. we're not going to far with that.

jimmy missed a bunch of throws in the red zone, plus a twisty 3rd down miss to deebo. our oline didn't look great.

kittle was our go to guy for the 4th year in a row.

I didn't see alot of clever scheming. some ineffective run concepts and no chunk runs for the second week in a row (without mitchell).

Not impressed by sermon. Wilson not a lead back either when the d is well prepared.

Jimmy gets blame but kyle also needs to do better play calling and showing new misdirection concepts and sending jimmy on roll outs.

He needs to hire a passing play designer because I don't think he is so good wit6h that.

He blames jimmy every time something doesn't work but its more complicated than that.

What parts make it a B? This review sounds like and F

We Just annihilated the Jags though

So the 49ers were too fancy with that winning game plan? That's a new one.

"Don't need gimmicks, use smart route concepts instead" what does that mean?

Should've beaten them with simple Madden plays eg iformation and quick slants.

I guess for some it's never good enough

Is this real? Win in every facet of the game and it was a gimmick win? Jesus man, you you must piss excellence

The new guys seem to be playing better just from an eye test perspective. We shall see if they continue to play well - specially against a tough team like the vikings.

Having said that, if he was playing good ball prior to the injury -- (1) that should help his trade value when he's healthy and (2) 49ers have to keep in mind that he's now injured and they have to stay with their philosophy of trying to stay away from players with an injury history.

Agree with both - I read that article about his chances of recovering are only **50/50** - no harm in letting him get healthy, just that he takes up some cap space. As AB has stated, they can rework to reduce that cap hit and also, I think (AB correct me if I'm wrong) but he said the cap is going up significantly in 2022. I think if the 49ers are serious about getting players with no injury history, McGlinchy is a prime example of a player you just may have to trade away or let go.
I was in attendance for the last 2 games.
as far as my favorite Niners memories, these will definitely be in the book. Hope it's the start of a big run

Then who will play RT, because Jaylon Moore left the game last week with a knee injury.
