If the 49ers were 2-8 or 3-7, it would have been easier at this point. Now at 5-5, now there is hope. When you have hope, well, anyways.

I hope so. Being able to run the ball 40 times is a good indication that the defense was able to get off the field on 3rd downs.

Watching meaningful December football is infinitely better than… whatever the heck 2015-2018 were. I'd rather have some hope than none.
