My guess is his route running currently isn't consistently sudden and quick enough for short and medium cut in/out routes. CB isn't buying what he's trying to sell. They just waited, closed, and contest.He effectively uses his big body at time for that but can't make a living off of that. When he goes long, they just double team with safeties. He's not a staple diet for Wilson at this point.

Defense needs to have a good day with or without Warner.
We got to find a temporary fix while Deebo is out. Aiyuk needs to come alive.

One way is Elijah Mitchell. Dude was 5 of 6 receiving for 35yds against the Vikes with a pinned finger.

My bet is Brandon Aiyuk - to replace Deebo in the WR ground game.
Idk if I like BA taking hits like that. He's not a stout as Deebo. But Shanny does have him returning punts and he takes some licks running routes, so who knows. Sherfield is the same size as Deebo so I'm going to guess him.
Kind of a out of the box thought....besides it being a daring risk, what about having some Deebo plays in there for Lance?
I called out a Jauan Jennings pass before the Vikings game and lo and behold, Jauan throws a pass in the game.
I think Aiyuk and Jennings can run certain carries that Deebo runs. Jennings doenst have deebos speed, but Deebo has run dives and off-tackles before too.
I havent thought of lance, but i wouldnt want our 34 million dollar man to get a stubbed toe on that atrocious Seadderall AstroTurf.
