SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at SEATTLE SEAHAWKS - 2021 Game 12

Today's takeaways,

Jimmy is not the answer
Coaching is poor
the team does not play smart
Refs make the headlines yet again
our run game is average without Deebo
our secondary is embarassing

Speaking of Cincy why is this game not at a neutral site? Why are we playing 1 more road game than home? That can't be the case for every team.

Because the NFL got greedy and added a 17th game.
The problem the 49ers will always have while Garrapolo.remains the QB is that opposing defenses know they don't have to worry about defending the deep ball. We almost never take a shot down field, so that puts more pressure on our receivers to win on 5-20 yard routes
Frustrating, dumb loss. They're there for the taking - we shot ourselves in the foot multiple times and you let them back in. Unbelievable ...

If Deebo was playing, this wouldn't have been close. I'm not going to overreact, it is what it is.

Every team is playing 17 games, do the math homeboy.

Yep. But Seattle just owns us. There is still hope for the rest of the season.

Eh, they could get in at 8-9 even. NFC is WEAK.

What's even the point if they're gonna get eliminated in the first round.

TV ratings?

I didn't make the rules for 7 playoff teams per conference, nor did I make so many NFC teams mediocre. I'm just observing. It's a 8 or 9 win season rather than an outright terrible 2-5 win season. It shows they have talent but also lack it in key spots. They'll have to address that in the off-season, and try again next year, as 30 other teams will ultimately have to do as well.

We are not a good team. How can some of you say we are. That was a sorry showing from a sorry ass team that is poorly coached. Yeah the refs f**ked us all day but we f**ked ourself more. f**k jimmy f**k kyle and f**k Seattle.

Besides maybe that fake punt. (Who no one would've thought they would've ran on their own 22 yard line) and The roughing the passer calls, what else was bad coaching?
don't give me playcalling because a certain play happen not to work. There was no play called that you thought "you can't call that in that situation". There was no time miss management.

Your right. Kyle is the best coach in NFL. Hands down. Just look at his record that proves it. Right?…. He has that killer instinct, knows how to win the big games right? Great judge of talent and gets the most out of his players right? Yup. He is great. I am wrong.

Considering he coached a team to overachieve and make it to the Super Bowl two years ago... ya most of those are true. Top ten coach in the league for sure. It was Kyle's "getting the most" out of Jimmy that unfortunately made it that they had to hitch their wagon to him longer than ideal. But he's finally got "his guy" now. If any quarterback needed to wait one or two years to play it was a 21-year-old that only played one year in college because of a pandemic.

F**king Seahawks.
Hightower had his worst day of the year coaching. Some things are out of his control but what he could control he f**ked up

Correct. Every NFC team plays an AFC opponent on the road this year. Next year that is reversed.
I'm not sure Jimmy cares much anymore in any event.

Jimmy is a complimentary player/QB. It is what it is.
Losing Mosely also hurt. Coaching staff don't put Lenoir in anymore, he's terrible.

i see 2 more wins left, texans and falcons , @ titans is a loss @ cincy a loss @ rams a loss so we end 8-9 just miss the playoffs

I could easily see that too.

I'm still optimistic IF Shany goes back to the running game and Deebo/Warner are good to go for next week. I see 3 wins....maybe 4.
Meanwhile Washington got 2 games each vs Dallas and Eagles. Vikings got the Rams,GB, Pitt.... We still like our spot. Just got to play better and mistake free from here on out.
