our specials teams are a mess.
our run game was sub par, we missed Deebo.
our D was above average but our secondary is constantly exposed and abused.
biggest problem is we don't handle pressure well, when the going gets tough we turn over the ball give away bone head penalties lose our discipline and lose our way collectively…. This did not happen to Harbaughs Niners.
Harbaughs Niners we're able to handle the heat, especially on the road. Shanahan Niners appear to lose the plot when pressured. Not a good trait.
wait and see how much we s**t ourselves in the playoffs should we make it.
Huh? Harbaugh teams crumbled their way to the finish line whenever they had a "bad" game.
42-13 vs seattle… 29-3 vs seattle.. 19-3 vs seattle… 26-3 vs the giants in an NFCCG rematch..
The slightest adversity would make those Harbaugh teams fold like a lawn chair. They looked good when things were "on-schedule" and the gameplan was working, otherwise, it was ugly.
Are you fxxking kidding me right now?!
Did you even ask yourself who the fxxk were playing for the Seahawks at the time during Harbaugh's era or were you too young? It was their Super Bowl team, that D-line was absolutely scary from DT to DE, Brandon Mebane, Red Bryant, Chris Clemons, Bruce Irvin, etc. The linebackers, KJ Wright and Robert Wagner and of course the backend with the Legion of Boom, Richard Sherman, Brandon Browner, Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor. No team could handle that unit, period!! As good as the 9ers' D was during that same period with names such as Justin Smith, Aldon Smith, Patrick Willis, NaVorro Bowman, Carlos Rogers, Tarell Brown, Donte Whitner and Dashon Goldson, we were no match to the Seahawks' D. That was precisely why so many teams have been trying to copy "Seattle's defense" ever since including the 9ers. That is only defense. Did I mention someone called Beast Mode on the other side of the ball? Not even our top 5 D could stop him.
So, to say the Harbaugh's team would "fold like a lawn chair" in isolation is 100% misleading. You send the current 9ers team up there and play with the 2012-2014 Seahawks team? They would totally get destroyed, at least a 50 burger in every encounter and the whole team would get trucked. And knowing how soft the Shanahan's teams are, most of them would be hospitalized. LOL.
