SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at SEATTLE SEAHAWKS - 2021 Game 12

For goodness sake why can we not beat the Seahawks? Why as opposed to every other team in the NFL do we lose 10 straight games to them in different decades it is unbelievable how the crap that they keep beating us all the time no matter if they're the best team in the world if their worst team in the world. We have to have every single healthy player available and we have to play a near perfect game in order to beat them that's crazy. I would love to punch Pete Carroll in his freaking gum chewing face and I'd love to see them lose 45 nothing for the next 20 years I could care less about that team.

Ya it's Shanahan's fault they had a 80 yard fake punt TD, threw 2 picks, fumble the kickoff, 3 roughing the passer penalties keeping the drive going and Sherfield getting mugged in the end zone. Kyle's a top 10 coach in the league. Stop being such whiny B!tch

This guy is 100% homer who eats the s**t the team serves him every week. He finds a way to spin each loss. I give faithful credit. He is consistent. The front office should add him to the pr team. Unfortunately he would fit in perfectly with the rest of the organization. Making excuses for s**t play and coming up with why we should remain optimistic. Only a true reality denier would come up with that b******t line about a hof qb and hof coach crap. Reality is we lost to a team that is in last place. We lost to a team that we should beat. We found ways to give it away. Truth be told we will end up being n last place so maybe we got what we deserve. This team is rotten to the core.

I know he will at least get next year since he drafted Trey Lance, but if the 9ers still stink up the joint next season? Jed should absolutely fire his a*s. We should have made the move this year and now we have missed out on coaching talents like Lincoln Riley.

It is amazing how the whole team can be playing like a playoff potential team then collectively fall off a cliff. I cannot believe the amount of penalties. It was like we were taken back in time to 2017 when stupid penalties were a thing.

Despite all the garbage play we were on batted ball away from tying the game. That means that the Seatooters were garbage as well. We were just a little bit more garbage on the day. Just sucked today.

You know damn well Gould would have missed the extra point. He's either "injured" just in time for Seattle or missing critical points when playing. It's almost like his passive aggressive F U for holding him hostage in SF instead of letting him go back to Chicago.

I typically am very much against bashing the refs. This play however was absolute rubbish! For starters, the broadcast team, I believe it was Barber, said that this next down, meaning 3rd down, needs to be your best play because you don't want to go to do or die 4th down. Critical play of a huge game meaning everyone should be locked in including the refs. Then on top of it all, I counted 3, YES 3, separate defensive penalties they could have called on that defender alone. 1st penalty could have been illegal touching. Sherfield was definitely 5 yards past the LOS. No flag. Would have led to a 1st down. 2nd penalty should have definitely been holding. No flag. Would have led to a 1st down. And then 3rd and final no call was defensive pi. No flag. And that one would have led to 1st and goal at the 1 (not sure if the other two would have led to the ball being placed at the 1 or not). Mind you, on top of all that, this is where the ball was thrown to meaning the refs' attention should have been focused on Sherfield and the defender who never once let go of him after latching on. Jimmy probably threw the ball to Sherfield with the actual intent of drawing a penalty because we all know he locks on to his favorite targets and tends to force passes to those he trusts (Kittle, Deebo, Juice to a lesser extent) especially in crunch time situations. Complete hogwash that nothing was called.

I don't even want to see us get into the Playoffs and be One and Done, would rather see us continue to build a better team and get rid of Garoppolo. If somehow we managed to limp our way into the Playoffs, then the Super Bowl and then see Tom Brady pick us apart, that would be almost more Painful than watchin the Seahawks continue to stomp the 49er every year. Maybe the 49ers are just cursed

Also, can we PLEASE move on from Dontae Johnson. I know he recovered a fumble but there is no reason he should be on the field over Lenoir or Thomas. He's toast! I much rather watch Lenoir or Ambry Thomas go through their NFL growing pains then watch Johnson get abused. Lenoir and Thomas may still turn into something and they provide at minimum what Johnson does.

Inexcusable loss. Jimmy G. threw the picks, but Shanny called way too many passing plays. I think Shanny gave up on the run too soon.

Brady would only be able to pick us apart in the NFC playoffs. Would make for a tremendous lead up to the game though of Brady vs his best protege to date.

people who predicted us blowing them out and declaring seattle dead should have known better.. you people should know we always bring out the best in them and they usually bring out the worst in us.. i thought we could win a three point game.. but then i should never under estimate our ability to play poorly vs seattle.. our secondary is not good at all. i predicted wilson and the wide outs would pick us apart,... no injury excuses and no ref excuses please.. we deserve credit for making the stop and driving late but there is no moral win . it was a failure and let a winnable game slip away.. you guys should have known this was going to be hard with them backed against a wall at their place. oh. and over haul special teams in the off season. this playoff talk is silly..

Agree.....time to bench JG and find out what have have in Lance. We are not winning the SB this year with JG....not going to happen. Let's get Lance in there to start learning the position at this level now so that maybe by next season he can be effective. JG is better than Lance right now, but JG has hit his ceiling and we need to be better at QB so time for Lance to start getting real game reps.
