Forget about it.

Is really time to accept this team is really just a mediocre team and nothing more.

They will play well in a couple of games to raise your hopes, then they will come crashing down in the next game even to the weakest of opponents. Just getting swept by a crappy 3-8 Seahawks team will tell you all you need to know.

There are just too many issues from top to bottom starting from Shanahan and they have lost my trust. It will take quite sometime to fix them all.

The good news is at least I have been enjoying watching Harbaugh and Michigan finally getting it done in beating Ohio State and winning the Big Ten. Just making the final 4 of the College Football Playoff alone is a huge deal. This 9ers team can learn from this Michigan team They really play together as a tight-knit unit in all 3 phases of football and were determined in getting it done from as early as spring ball. The 9ers? They just thought everything will be automatically handed to them just because we kept most of the players from the 2019 squad. Sorry folks, that's not how football works. Every season you have to bust your balls just to have a chance to be good. This team basically took things for granted.

I mean when even Washington quarterbacked by Taylor Heinicke could beat the Seahawks and we can't, that pretty much says it all about the state of the franchise.

ShanaLynch in 2025. "You saw our team from 2019. We're going to run it back one more time."

maybe the bricks will be better and stronger bricks then as compared to the bricks of today??

Not sure but season long stats can be distorted. Some teams have a couple of early key injuries and they struggle on D or O. Then they get those guys back and they play a lot better but statistically they still rank low. We've seen it with the NIners. Take away Deebo and Kittle and this offense isn't anywhere near as good. Take away Verrett and Bosa and the pass defense struggles.

Yup, guess DVOA doesn't account for going awol on STs (the one DVOA stat Seattle was better at) & our QB having a couple brain farts.
