What a great game to watch, but…just like a week ago we GAVE a game to SEA, yesterday the Bengals GAVE one back to us.
Granted, we had some indescribably great play from Kittle, 15 targets, 13 catches (or close), and then Aiyuk with his acrobatic catches, and clutch game ending play. Not to be out done was Deebo who thankfully was not asked but once to run between tackles (it failed but he didn't get hurt). Played from RB position at times but his catches in traffic….at least 3…don't know how to judge it but he has the quickest hands i have ever seen in tight situations where 6 hands are all contesting for the ball and Deebo snatches it. Watch again on those 3 plays…he has hands like a magician…so quick, so sure.
Great playcalls by Coach Kyle, and terrific game by jimmy on too many passes to count. No, he wasn't perfect, but he did lead us to 2 GWDs at end of game and in OT. He had a helluva game.
The Negatoid: Ambry Thomas (and i wasn't counting) got two DPIs for 1st downs, plus got 2 TDs scored over him …and that's what i remember. He had a horrid showing. He musta made some good plays but i don't recall those. Ambry, son….you HAVE to get better. Demeco, you got work to do with Ambry…kyle too. Sure CB is going to be our Achilles heel remainder of yr, but every single team out there has holes , all from injury in this the yr of the BIG INJURY…and that's in addition to the damn covid crap.
NFL has wanted parity forever. Well, they finally got it…INJURY PARITY. Last week we looked like dreck at times, yesterday Bengals had 2 muffed Punt returns, both of which we recovered.(same guy twice)…also a dumb azz taunt of a 3rd down stop… for a 1st down. Just amazing how it mirrored our play in SEA, only a week ago. Plus bengals also had multiple dropped passes, and other fumbles lost. Amazing, just amazing.
Bottom line. All teams are nicked, and all are capable of being the 9ers last week or the bengals this one. So whatever happens from here on out….expect the unexpected. For this is the new NFL …INJURY PARITY NFL…welcome to the show.

For real. Imagine the difference of a plane ride home with a 5 quarter loss versus a 5 quarter win. A loss there could have ended our campaign. It would have been a brutal blow. This is a real turning point.

Both teams had a lot of almosts and maybes but those 2 turnovers were real and they handed the Niners 10 points. Then they continued their pattern of not scoring in the second half.
Like I said, the Niners were lucky to get to overtime and have a shot at winning. Don't tell me that if the Niners had lost after giving up 10 points via turnovers that you wouldn't be saying the Bengals were lucky and the special teams suck. This board spent a lot of time ripping the Niners special teams after the loss to Seattle.
i mean it goes either way then. I wouldn't say the niners were lucky to win at all. Most games you can point to a couple plays that would've shifted the game. If the bengals had won, i would've said they got lucky as f**k to escape with that win.
We had people saying that Seattle was lucky last week. Actually the more accurate statement would be the Niners were lucky to have the opportunity to win in OT. My understanding is that the Bengals punt returner has been reliable all year and then he flat out muffs 2 in his own territory. They weren't caused by big hits by the D. They were just dropped. Easy 10 points for the Niners. Other than that, the Niners didn't do much until OT.
I know there were some dropped passes and almost INTs during the game but we see those every week. Two muffed punts that are lost and lead directly to 10 points are inexcusable just like that dropped kick return last week against the Seahawks. I'm sure Bengals fans are talking about those 2 punts today on their website.

It was a wild game. We had the potential for so much more. A ticky tack call of hands to the face on an INT. AAS tipped a clear INT away from Warner. 4th down heave to the endzone that paid off for them. They had some obvious mistakes but we can't take what we do for granted. Aiyuk back there on punt returns handled his business. The Bengals showed that it's not easy all the time to make the routine play credit to our guys when they do. To go on the road with no turnovers you set yourself up for a W.

I look at reality. Sometimes it's not pretty and sometimes it is.
Bengals fans sure have to have a negative feeling about the Niners. TSF is 13-4 all time against them including the 2 SB wins. At one point the Niners won 9 straight.
There, that's pretty positive.

That's how you stay in denial of the reality of what's actually going on. What can happen in the future.
Yeah, he's such a dingus for wanting to enjoy a win for a week.....smh
Why do you feel the need to piss in someone's cheerios? The guy wants to celebrate a win this week. Why is that so wrong?
Just let someone enjoy it, geesh.
You didn't the read previous conversation between me and him. I didn't randomly just pick him out to say that.
Also you have the nerve to talk about that other poster losing credibility.... you lose it each time from the real folks who follow your posts around here.
Sure you'll have folks kissing your ass on Youtube and here... but again, we know the truth Jonny.
Also will you finally admit the ball hit a defender's hand AND NOT DEEBO'S chest that Colts game? Or are you still fine misleading folks who trust you.
You should know better than to quote me Jonny.
More whining after a win. Jfc our fanbase.
Lol, our fan base?? 99.9999999% of 49ers fans' are not on this forum. Give it a rest man.

I was watching the replay and their returner was blasted in the beginning of the game after a good return
He was clutching his arm and hand while stumbling off the field
Wouldnt surprise me if that hit caused all the fumbles later.
Combination of having his bell wrung and minor injury he thought he could play through

If that was the case then the Bengals coaches should have replaced him sooner. They waited until he cost them 10 points. They should have been talking to him after the first drop. If he was hurting and didn't tell them then it's on him. In either case, they were gifts that the Niners gladly accepted.

No Cincinnati was lucky to even be in the game.
There was a false start and a massive holding on the SAME PLAY on that touchdown on fourth down in the 4th quarter
There was a blatant PI on Kittle, right there that's at least 10-14 point swing if they make those two obvious calls
Cincinnati also got lucky with those two hands to the face penalties on Thomas which cost us an interception and a sack (which they would've likely punted)
So no, Cincinnati got so damn lucky that they only were flagged once the entire game.
PLEASE

All this and the Bengals were playing against a very green CB on the right. f**kem!

What in the hell are you talking about! You say that the Bengals missed a fg yet you don't even mention the Gould walk off tag miss for the win? You certainly have an agenda please stop you're trying too hard and looking foolish at the same time.
They had no business in that game playing against 3rd and 4th string cbs and a rb3
