A new kicker, punter and special teams coach would be nice.

It seems ike you always need something. Every year some part of the team seems to need an upgrade. You fix the line then the receivers need an upgrade. You fix that then it's the DB. And so on. If you're lucky, the things you need to upgrade are available in free agency or fall to you in the draft. If not you reach and hope it works. Never ending process.
This game should come down to execution and focus

kyle just needs to kick robbie in the leg during warmups
I thought the team would have to run the heck out of the ball to beat the Rams so they could keep Stafford off the field. I thought Jimmy, George and Aiyuk would have to step up to beat the Bengals since Mitchell was hurt and Wilson still seemed to be rounding into form and Hasty was coming back from being injured, Not sure how to call this one though. Strong effort across the board. Build on the good things the team has done during their wins and try to limit the miscues that have plagued them in their losses. This is as close to a must win as there is for them these last few weeks. Gotta get the W. Go Niners!!

The article at the top of the page says 49ers need to avoid a letdown. How can a team that had a 4 game losing streak and is still only one game over .500 have a letdown. Actually no team can have one this season. There aren't any super teams. Just a lot of good and average teams.
i feel like you have posted this same exact post before

I have mentioned before that there aren't any great teams this year and I think that's a pretty accurate statement. I started by referring to the article at the top of the page saying the 49ers need to avoid a letdown. That's something I stand by because they're still an inconsistent team. They look like they're improving but they can't afford to overlook anyone. There is so much parity in the league right now that every game is a potential pothole.

Thats why the Bucs are the pick to repeat because they have the arguably greatest QB to have ever walked on Earth still playing at an elite level despite being 54 years old.

A team that we should easily beat actually beats us.

No games are a gimme for a 7-6 team.
Frank Gore > Hill, Sermon and Wilson.

And Mitchell's status, those other guys are unremarkable and possess zero explosiveness.

49ers are 7-6 and the 5th seed with 4 games left, Falcons are what? 6-7(although a very weak 6-7) and still trying to make a playoff push. they're in no position to overlook anyone.

Isn't he a niner groupie ? Opposite of that niner hating dude florio

Correct. Shrager is the antithesis of Florio.

I think the Niners are Shrager's team.

Maybe so, but IDK. I've always found him to be straight up, calls a spade a spade, doesn't go nutty, and seems about as fair as a sports talk guy could be. He'll give you the highlites ….and lowlites…and be even handed about it. I think it is more that he just appreciates really fine football play. Kittle, Aiyuk, #97, the entire DL, Azeez, the STs (esp in light of our ST play the week before), Kyle's game plan and playcalls…the whole enchilada…Schrags was truly impressed by it all. "They may not be at top of NFC, but NOBODY wants to play the 49ers now."

Sounds like a 49er fan to me!

Well, at least he can appreciate good play .
