yeah, and they spent over half those highlights trying to make it seem like it was a close game....then the final score LMFAO!

There was a time when close games were unacceptable in SF. We expected to blow out teams like the Rams, Falcons, and Saints. Hell, they would practically skip Niner game highlights on NFL Primetime because the scores were so uneven.

Now, the mentality is "a win is a win". 30 years ago a game like the Bengals would be unacceptable. Now we bask in the glory like world beaters…

We have an offensive coordinator who is so inconsistent on what he's doing on game day. He's incapable of innovating and is stuck with Jimmy at qb. Grind fest but, proud of them rebounding and making a serious playoff push

I see some welcome to the league, rook moments.
Niners have done well on the road winning 5 of 7...need to start winning consistently at home. Take it to the Falcons right from the opening KO...make it three in a row at home.
i want revenge for '19

i hope kyle plays that final drive in which julio scored to win, i know that still pisses off guys like kittle and bosa

we absolutely need to blow them out. Be able to rest our starters and then get ready to play again on Thursday night... I hate that our Thur game is so late in the seaso but we get the Texans after and that SHOULD be a win. ATL game is huge incase we are not playing our best ball against the Titans on TNF.

Gotta get this game out of reach early.

If up by 3 or 4 scores late in the 3rd or in the 4th, I think Kyle gets his starters out as early as he can.

Got a quick turn around to Tennessee

A Thursday game this late in the year after an early bye is going to be brutal.

Lol are.you me?

My sentiments too

The NFL has changed drastically over the last 30 years. In the pre-salary cap era you could build an empire and only a few teams got to that level so there was little parity in the league. With the salary cap, 7 playoff teams per conference, and the current rosters this year, something like 26 out of 32 teams are one game away from a playoff spot with 4 games to go. Parity is back and I, for one, am enjoying it.

Exactly. And the 49ers paid for that roster dominance in the early 2000's.

The league wants and has achieved a remarkable parity. Close games get better ratings which means more money for everyone.

No one but niner fans tuned in to watch those blood bath games. Rams fans sure weren't excited to sit and watch their team get blown out by a 49ers team that was almost guaranteed to he in the NFCCG with the Cowboys.

The nice part is Bosa won't have to deal with many if any chips rushing the passer. If Pitts chips him Nick might break him in half

It was frustrating as hell as I was waiting all day for the flags, but I have to say, it's nice having real depth at DE for a change.
