SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at TENNESSEE TITANS - 2021 Game 15

I think we have an advantage comparing our QBs, RBs (even w/o Mitchell), TEs, WRs, OL, DL (but this is close), LBs, and Ss). We're weak in our outside coverage CBs and our ST.
WE NEED TO HAVE A CLEAN SPECIAL TEAMS GAME! I don't need fancy returns, just no turnovers, solid tackling, and be able to hit a 45yd FG with the game on the line.

No it doesn't. I don't root for other team injuries or players to be too hurt to play. We can handle their best shot. Can they handle our secondary? I bet on us.

Agree, and I hate even more that astro-crete that we have to play them on - in Seadderall land. Glad they are out of the playoffs. They seem to have Kyle's number.

Losing maybe their best two OL is a big blow for a Tennessee offense that has really struggled recently.
That's huge both those guys out

Maybe you need to look at yours more?
At my age not much point.
Then take off the diapers.
Aww you guys are brutal. Give us old dudes a break.
Go easy on him. He obviously hasn't reached that age yet. No diapers. Unfortunately just no sex.
You or him? No! Don't Answer that! I don't want to know!
I swear Mayo is *such* a trouble maker!

We're always the most injured, so any advantage the Football Gods of fortune bestow upon my team. I'll take it!

In his prime? Or if he suited up tomorrow?

Did he have a prime?
He kinda took the league by storm when the read option RG3 attack was steam rolling clubs. They caught up to it pretty quick and those types faded into nothing. It's like we were a step ahead of the curve, the league adjusted and he lacked the skills to counter once defenses had a plan to shut him down.

When polled in 2015, almost 75% of fans thought they preferred Kap over Russell Wilson, I guess we thought he had a pretty decent prime?

Some other interesting reading as to how fans felt his prime was and future looked in 2015...

I think some people forget how good he looked... or were we collectively delusional and he had no prime to speak of?

kap almost single handedly won the NFC title game for us and in that game he had 1 big run on a scramble. He was a completely legit player and while it's true he didn't progress on the trajectory he was headed, i would say he was arguably our best QB of the past 10 years. Injuries really hampered/slowed him down and then of course he was black balled out of the league by a bunch of s**t head owners. Such is life i suppose!
But lets not go down the rewriting history route. You have guys like darnold, mike glennon, nick mullens, whoever the f**k started for washington last night (legimtiately never heard of this dude), etc etc. To say that Kap isn't better than those guys TODAY is pretty laughable. Kap could step on the field and be better than at least a few starters, and very likely better than the majority of backups in the league.

I mean looking at pro football reference his best year was 2012 his first year of playing time. When most people talk about prime, they talk about a bell curve type distribution. You start slow as you are learning the game. You end slow as your skill set erodes. The middle is your prime. He didn't have the typical bell curve distribution is all I'm saying. He kind of started at the top and you just draw a line diagonal down. I wouldn't consider any of his years prime years in the typical sense.
