Tannehill is just going to throw high arcing jump balls to Julio and AJ Brown all game.

They're 5-1 with both Julio and AJ Brown in the lineup (5-0 since week 1) and 4-4 without one of the two.

theyre 5-1 with a healthy O-line and a healthy Henry

Their o-line hasn't been good at any point this season.

Derrick Henry's impact is highly overrated *this season*. He's good, but he was only averaging 4.3 YPA, less than his replacements since the injury.

Over 900 yards and 10 TDs in 8 games is highly overrated?

On 218 Attempts. 4.3 yards a carry, 2.7 yards a carry in his last two games. His top two replacements have combined for over 5 yards a carry. They've had almost 700 yards rushing in their last 4 games, more than they had in Henry's last 5 games.

Teams literally sell out to stop Henry and he still averaged "only" 4.3 yards. You're way over simplifying things if you think teams are defending foreman the same way they were defending Henry.

Prove it rather than just say it. Provide something that shows that the Titans faced more run-focused fronts with Henry than they have over the last 6 weeks.

No thanks. I don't care enough about this subject to argue with you for pages and pages about how teams defend Derrick Henry vs any of the other titans RBs. It's not like anything will convince you otherwise.

57 or 20... 20 seems too cold for Memphis ?

the 49ers fans now, have been traveling pretty good. I heard it's a good place to go to since there's things to do around the stadium

And that last game he played 80% of it with a BROKEN FOOT....

And his replacements in those last 4 games gave them a 1-3 record, the only win coming against the Jaguars...

Before his injury, Henry was on pace to break the single season rushing AND touchdown records! 4.3 YPC against constant stacked boxes and defenses keying on him almost every play. If you don't understand his impact, you don't understand football.

🥱, I'm asking for proof that Henry was the reason they were winning more than AJ Brown and Julio Jones. So far, I haven't seen it.

As for the records he was on pace to set, he wasn't on pace to set a rushing TD record. He was on pace to break the record for most carries in a season.

I'm just not buying that he was the reason why they were winning and that his absence is why they're no longer winning at the same rate.

Sure.
play action works a lot better when henry is your rb

Henry is a legit stud. Lulz at "tHe bAcKuP AvErAgeS MoRe" type of argument. I watch a lot of Titans being in the Nashville area now and he is by far their best player.

unbelievable .... don't believe your lying eyes .... anyone with eyes knows henry is not overrated. Stop depending on stats and watch the game lol

Mmhmm, if his impact on the team is so significant to the team this year, then it should be easily quantifiable in a way that proves that he had more of an impact on their offensive success than the duo of AJ Brown and Julio Jones.

Well, ok, you watch them a lot, but do you know what you're looking at?

Since you watch them a lot, you probably know that Henry faced 8 men in the box on 35% of his carries this season (less than Elijah Mitchell). His backups have faced 8-man fronts over 50% of the time. He also had only .05 RYOE (Rush Yards over Expectation) per attempt, around 20th in the league amongst RBs with 150+ attempts, and 1.5 yards per attempt fewer than league leader Jonathan Taylor. RYOE takes into account defensive fronts, defensive rating, etc. His two backups with the most carries both have a higher RYOE this year.

That's not to say that Henry isn't a great player, only that his absence has had less of an impact on their offense than the absence of their top two receivers.
