I really don't get the whole Jekyll and Hyde narrative.
Jimmy isnt doing anything that different in his "bad" games that he isnt doing in his "good" ones from QB play point of view.
He makes same mistakes, inability to read defenses. Throws into traffic. Throws that completely neglect a linebacker. Lack of precision on some tight throws. In his good games aside from maybe last week when he was mistake-free, he threads the needle, sometimes Deebo makes an amazing catch out of mid-air. In his good games, DB drops a pick.In bad games, some of those threaded passes in the middle of the field turn into turnovers. Those passes require great precision that he isnt consistent at.
If Jimmy was hitting deep throws one game and completely missing them this game, then Id be like yeah thats inconsistent. Jimmys play isnt that inconsistent. It's the results that are inconsistent. Jimmy is a limited QB who cant throw outside the numbers or down the sideline, can't read defenses and has terrible mechanics. His resiliency and quick release are probably his best qualities.
