Besides Jimmy's bum ass this is what cost us:
The 49ers gave up third-down conversions when Tennessee needed 11, 3, 10, 15, 7, 10, 23, 10 and 8 yards.
horrible, we need Moseley back. Also, Dee Ford and Verrett were major losses

I think fatigue by the short week and aj brown being super fresh was what caused that.

What? our receivers are fine I'd rather give the bag to a corner.

Again, you seem lost. Kittle, Deebo Aiyuk Mitchell on offense? Warner and Bosa and Armstead and AZ on D? It is very much not a .500 club in talent. And Jimmy doesn't throw and INT at the goal line or miss a wide open juice for a TD among other sacks and passes we win that game handily.
Again, you seem to think this is a Superbowl team. LOL.
Nope. Never was.

False. Can't ever root to lose. Get in and anything can happen. If making the playoffs is a moral victory, missing the playoffs does nothing either.

They tease us with a hard fought win at Philly. They beat down the Rams and beat the Vikings…
Then they lose both Seattle games in disastrous fashion, the Colt game was there for the taking just like tonight's game.
The Seattle loss at home was the most frustrating although tonight's loss is pretty close.
Losing to Colt McCoy was the ugliest performance of the year.
This team s**ts themselves when the going gets tough.
we all know how this is gonna play out and it's gonna end in an infuriating, frustrating loss….. Get ready!
Spot on.
The formula is exactly the same every single time we lose:
1. Bad Jimmy 2-3Q but Good Jimmy at the very end
2. Good defense 1-2Q and Bad Defense at the very end
3. Poor Special Teams
4. Crucial drive killing penalties
5. Key drops
6. Poor 2nd half adjustments (never get back to what's working; Juice wheel route)
Most are incapable of seeing past 1 but 2-6 is very consistent in losses and will be the reason we don't get past the first round of the playoffs.

This team is average and the wins and losses to the above teams are indication of our record. We will probably beat Houston at home and have a dog fight against the Rams. McVay would like nothing better than to knock the 49ers out of the playoffs. And if we get in we will most likely fall short of winning the first game.
Bingo.

I cant be too mad, as was expecting this game to be a loss due to short week and needing to travel to east. But game was totally winnable. Understand why Shenanigans would go for it on 4th and 1, but should have punted after penalty. And Josh Norman needs to go. Dude constantly getting burned. A. Thomas keeps getting burned too, but is a rook that has not played a lot in the past year. And Jimmy G is not going to be here next year, so not even going to rant about him other than tired of him being consistently inconsistent.
We got 2 games left and still have a shot at playoffs and a winning record. Better than what I thought we were going to be after 4 game losing streak. This is a lost year, but at least we are still relevant in Dec for once. We are not going to Super Bowl, but playif experience is experience. Just hoping front office fixes issues that are plaguing us, such as bringing in better CBs and replacing Ford to take load off of Bosa. Would be nice to see Lance, but why rush him in, and risk injury when Shenanigans just uses as a RB.
My thoughts exactly.

Still no deep threat so the defense can crouch and flood the middle esp. now given that's our bread and butter. I wouldn't mind another target taller than 5'10" too.

Exactly! I'm pissed yeah because again we made the mistakes (jimmy *cough*) and we could have won this game. How many games this year did Jimmys mistakes cost us? If we make into the playoffs, and we still have a good chance, anything can happen but we are not making it to the NFCC with our corners and jittery Jimmy.
