They cant play power run ball control anymore

Without the running threat of Henry the D isnt biting on play action and leaving easy throws for Tannehill

A good day is 200 yards passing and 20 or so points on offense now

If we can move on that D we should be ok...

They're still not having any issue running the football. D'Onta Foreman went over 100 yards against Pittsburgh and New England at 5 yards a carry.

Henry did that against defense slanted to stop the run.

Tannehill had easy throws b/c of it.

Now defenses can play the pass more so the runs will be easier but Tannehill has nothing to work with

This is a tough one this is a well coached team on the road on a short week. Not sure how familiar we are with these guys. When I do playoff machine I keep getting that Titans are the #1 seed in the AFC they good.

They crushed KC
Beat the Bills
Swept the Colts
Won in Seattle with Russ healthy
Won in LA
Beat New Orleans

100% they're 1-3 over their past 4 games and the only win was vs the hapless Jaguars. They lost to the effing Texans.

The biggest concern is their DL.

Was that the "Handshake" game?

I'm pretty sure that was from a game during a 3 game win-streak near the end of 2006 when Nolan was the HC.

I had so much hope during that stretch. 2006 was one of the high points during the dark years.

Agreed. High point for me was the end of the 08 season I believe. Singletary got the job from being interim, then we all seen how that turned out lol

Wooooow. Haven't heard/seen Shawntee Spencer's name in a long tone.

06 was a fools gold year(no pun intended).

Alex looked way better than his rookie year and the offense was gelling in Norv Turners offense.

Then 2007 happened....Jim Effing Hostler.....

Then Alex's shoulder injury.

That year was so bad we were even hoping Shaun Hill would be a viable qb option

ah the glory years
Even without Henry, their OL can still run block quite well. The problem for them is that except for Taylor Lewan, their OL is not good at PP. Still, their offense without Julio is not very good.

On defense, their front seven is vulnerable. David Long is a very good Blitzer from the Mike. Harald Landry has his moments rushing the passer but overall is disappointing. Their strength is at safety where Kevin Byard is the best in the league. Amani Hooker is also having a very good year. Jackrabbit is OK at one corner and Kristian Fulton is quietly having a good year on the other wing.

We will need to run the ball well and look for opportunities in the passing game.
These guys are still mean as hell in the trenches, short rest, on the road….this is going to be a tough out. We're better but we can't come out flat or tired.

Ryan Tannehill is very mobile. Titans O-line are maulers. Need to put a spy on Tannehill or he will kill us with legs.

After seeing Kyler Murray and Russell Wilson twice a year, I think they will manage Tannehill. Can't sleep on him...but they will manage him fine.

Good post. I have a lot of respect for Vrabel. Dude went into New England and beat Brady and Belichick in that house with Tannehill at the helm. That's impressive.
