KS doesn't blow teams out often.

+ this D isn't currently built to hold leads when the other team goes to hurry-up passing in the 4th.

If you look closely at the projection, it's with Garoppolo starting at QB. Not Trey Lance. At least this is the case for the game this Sunday against Houston.

Although, IF Lance were to start and pass for 256 yards, which is what the projection indicates, Webzone membership might declare a general holiday of celebration.

Lots of fans hoping they rest players, but I don't see that happening in any scenario. They way Kyle has owned them, McVay needs to get a win vs Niners regardless of their seeding. Can you imagine the backlash if he rested his guys, let us into the playoffs only to lose to us if we met? If the situation was reversed, no way would I want Shanny resting dudes if he had an opportunity to step on say Seattle's neck.

When jimmy said that he was able to play (reported on the WZ), i hope that is true and that he will be available if Trey should happen to get some freak injury. Recall that has already happened the last time Trey played so , yes, i do hope JG can play if needed. I hope he doesn't have to, but like that a whole lot better than our alternative choice. Hopefully Trey will be fine, play well and not get injured.

That said, i sure hope the runs up the gut amount to about zero, and basically he just uses his mobility to throw from platforms all over the field. Those hoping jimmy was done for the yr….unh unh…he still has to be able to back up Trey. That is the only way a team can truly get thru the yr anymore. I'm sure there are a couple teams whose QB1 didn't get injured this yr and miss games, but with covid that became a virtual unreality this yr.

That isnt the way NFL football was meant to be played, but it sure morphed into it this yr. So i am hoping Jimmy can throw, altho probably not well, but hope he can play if he had to , should trey go down with God only knows what. Our best hope is that Trey doesn't get dinged, and that he uses his legs to get out of trouble, buy more time, ONLY. In the few instances he does run, please let it be a 10 yd wide hole and he slides when near CBs ,DLs or LBs.
