QB read option is all I read

QB option up the middle is all I read.

Just kidding I know we'll see a different Lance. I think Shanahan utilizes the running backs more this time, not to mention Deebo coming outta the backfield.

I know the 9ers will win this, but I think the bigger victory will be how well Lance performs. And I'm hoping for very encouraging.
Scuse me for asking a question that has already been answered, but at what point is Coach Kyle required by NFL rules to announce who the starting QB is going to be?

they don't have to annouce who the starting QB is, they do have to let the league know who is out of the game by a certain time

That would make sense since there's no way they can tell on a guy that has an injury that could allow him to play until they see him warm up. That's why we hear then say game time decision.

When they rule someone out earlier, it may allow them to activate a replacement from the practice squad. Plus it gives the gamblers the info they like

if it's a gametime decsion, then that player is going to take up a roster spot. if you know he's going to be out then you have to call up a PS player which needs to happen before gametime

They have until 90 minutes before kickoff to submit the inactive list. However to elevate someone from the PS, it must be done by 4pm est the day before kickoff.

So if Jimmy isn't dressing, they have to elevate Sudfeld by tomorrow afternoon. If they don't Juice would by default be our backup QB. Another option is that they could opt to elevate Nate today or tomorrow, decide on the morning of the game to dress JG as the backup and make Nate inactive.

They might as well just put Hurst on season ending IR. He's not coming back.

Last I heard about him was he had a setback. He's probably not coming back.

He's had a 'calf' the entire year. Imagine if we cut him and had been developing a young player this entire time...or picked up a reclamation project like he and Arden were.

It's not that he's added nothing on the field, it's that the team continues to keep him on the 53. They just love injured players tying up rosters spots.

Lol let's hope so. Last thing we need Is to see a repeat of what we saw against the cards.

We're more than likely to see Kyle utilize the running backs as much as possible this time round. I'm also hoping Kyle allows Lance to spread his wings and fly at some point too.

Time to see what we have In Lance.

I sometimes forget how big of a dude trey is. Kittle is 6'4, 250 and trey more or less looks the same size (I know he's lighter but still)

Otherwise when another team cuts a legitimate player, the front office would have to do "their due diligence" and investigate signing said player.

He's bad on that podcast. Just leave it to Barrows and Lombardi. Most of the sidekicks on all of these pods are horrendous.
