Let teams get film, then go totally opposite when the time came.. like now

Let's hope Kyle does the opposite of what he did against the cardinals earlier In the season. He should allow Lance to drop back and throw it 30 times. Let's see what the young rookie Is made of.

I wonder what this thread will look like on Sunday. All the JG supporters / haters will be in full force. "See, Jimmy would have made that throw!!" or "This is why we drafted Trey, what a play!!!", I personally just dont think TL is ready to roll yet and this game is absolutely HUGE. We lose this, kiss the post season goodbye. If Trey does start I am really interested to see the chemistry he has with the other players. We can argue on here about JG being good or s**tty but I do know 1 thing, the players really do like him. GK85, his linemen, WR's, they all celebrate with him and you can see it is genuine.

"Likeability" is so bare minimum, if that's the only thing you can say about Jimmy then we are for sure ready to move on.

It's like going out on a date, and the only thing the girl says afterwards is "He's a nice guy."

Likeability leads to chemistry. Chemistry leads to wanting to play hard for each other because you are chasing the same goal and often times you can let your guard down and put yourself in the other person's shoes to get better. Same with a woman, if she likes you n build chemistry you both will try.

YUSSSS!

We don't spend three #1s for handoffs. Nate Peterman can execute handoffs flawlessly. We want slicing and dicing. Make it so.

I see us winning this game then McVay has an oh s*** moment when we come into LA with TL rocking. Shanny is gonna have a 21 year old superstar QB. Stafford turns 34 in like a month. The Rams window is already closing. Ours could be decade plus.

This is getting sexual and with Jimmy G that can lead down a dangerous road I'm not sure either of you want to be on.

Things are lined up for Lance to play well - home game, extended week to prepare, weak opponent, has Kittle this time. Play turnover free football, with a couple explosive plays sprinkled in, and the 49ers should win.

Don't the Texans have a really bad run D too?

Hopefully we dominate on the ground without using lance as a runner every other play.

27th in the league in terms of yards per rush defense. HOU might sell out to stop the run and take their chances with Lance as a passer.

Just noticed that Lovie Smith is the DC for the Texans. His foundation is Cover2 so that partially explains why they struggle versus the run (they also just transitioned from 3-4 to 4-3). Cover2 is not going to work against the 49ers run game so HOU will need to bring a safety down into the box. Expect lots of zone coverage. It will be interesting to see what formations Kyle uses. Does he help the run game and keep things the same, or does he spread things out horizontally to give Lance easier presnap reads? I thought Lance stared down his target too often vs ARI in his one start, he will need to use his eyes to move defenders if HOU is zone heavy.

Your point is all theory.

Didn't work for likable guys like Nick Mullens and Beathard.

Houston's starting safeties, Justin Reid and Eric Murray, are not good against the run. That should help get the run game going and take pressure off Lance. Houston has one good corner to avoid.

Overall, the Texan defense has been playing better as the season went along. This game may not be as easy as some think.
So if we beat the Texans that means Trey Lance is better than Justin Herbert. That's just what the math tells me

Lmao. God you are so hopeful. Hope you are right but I realistically see all of us being in for a rude awakening. The key is jimmy and they both kinda suck right now. I hope I am wrong

Bright side is he is done in SF. Good riddance.

Link of such call outs?

Of course. Herbert is 'boring' <- not based on math, it's advanced PFF analitics.
