What will Jimmy's trade value be in the offseason?

Season's done. Not much else to really discuss.

I think a team will pretty much already have a deal worked out for him if we're to get any value out of a trade.

I'd trade him, Trey and Tartt and 1 more pick for Wilson

Hopefully Matt will forgive me for a direct quote: "The bottom line is that the 49ers can be expected to receive at worst a second-round draft pick and, perhaps, another pick or two for Garoppolo to clear the way for Lance to take over as the starter this year."
It's in Jimmy's best interest to insure that whatever team he goes to maintains their 1st and 2nd round picks. We can't expect him to play good soldier anymore. His agent has likely been talking with teams on his behalf for some time now. He's going to do all he can to reduce the Niners leverage in any potential negotiation.

The Niners are in a bind. If they play hardball and wait for someone to flinch they might lose some respect amongst the 49er players as Jimmy did right by them and is still popular.

Better IMO to do right by Jimmy and let him pick his team and then accept whatever they give us. I know that sounds sorry, but I believe it's better to remain in good standing with the players. We will look foolish and petty if we try to play games.

The Niners strongest asset is the camaraderie on this team. We shouldn't f**k with it.

I don't know that's a lot for Jimmy. Maybe a 2nd, but multiple additional picks is I think a bit ambitious.

One thing that hasn't been brought up when comparing to previous trades - teams seem to be more willing to trade picks for players.

I think Niners will get nice value for Jimmy. I think they can get 2 2nd round picks (one this year and one next year).
I'd be good with a 2nd and a 4th
Jimmy is way better than Sam Darnold, and they got 2nd, 4th and 6th picks for Darnold
Jimmy is as good or better than Carson Wentz and they got a 1st and 3rd for Wentz
Jimmy is better than Alex Smith at the time, and they got two #2 picks for Alex Smith

I would expect compensation of ~two #2 picks for Jimmy

I'm Cowherd on this, trade him to the Steelers not for some middling draft pick, but for one of their cover corners.

Yeah, Guap - that's more realistic. Now, drop and give me 50.

I love you mannnn! I'll give you 100 for s**ts and giggles Mayo!!

He's worth more than a 2nd and 4th based on other trades but teams know we are starting Trey no matter what so our bargaining position isn't great. So we definitely need a bit of a bidding war to get more than let's say a 2nd imo

Our secondary needs the help. Another upside when we play Pittsburgh they can be Jimmy's top receivers.

and word coming out of the Senior Bowl is the Tomlin is in love with Malik Willis

Like it's not even a secret lol.

Pitt ain't trading for a QB and rarely move picks for players (Fitz is the only guy I can remember)...Tomlin also talked about how his next QB has to be mobile.
