Sounds like he likes Carr anyway. (reports show he actually wanted to trade for Carr last yr).

My thought would be he could get more for Carr (in a trade) and think he could get just as much out of Jimmy (as far as play goes) get a 1st+ for Carr and give up a 2nd for Jimmy kinda thing. Who knows what he thinks...he did draft Tebow in the 1st lol

I don't see Kyle dealing Jimmy to the organization he openly hates. I would toss DC out of the list of teams Jimmy could go to (unless Jimmy is admit that's where he wants to go)

You mean the team we traded with to get our All-Pro best tackle in the league Trent Williams? Seems they have a good relationship with Rivera. Jimmy would be foolish NOT wanting to go there, great RB in Gibson, great WR in Mclaurin and a great defense (well that did underachieve) this season.

One thing on the subject of Herbert. Coaches often don't know what they got. Recall they opened with Tyrod Taylor over Herbert. Only a punctured lung fluke got Herbert in there as a rook. Difference between practice play and game situations.

Trent pretty much forced their hand though and it was taking a player away not giving them someone. Kyle has had nothing positive to say about that organization and hates what they did to his father. He's been pretty open about it.

But who knows, Mayhew is there and maybe they've said things are a little different. We will see!

I don't think that is a given. He is only making $1.127M this year. His position is the cheapest of any DB position. Bring him back with a heavy incentive package and compete with Hufanga. I expect a draft pick coming in as well. Huf was a rookie but his coverage skills were not great and that is Tartt's weakness as well. In any case, we need better ball skills in the secondary.

EDIT: Per Sportrac, there are roughly 15 UFA safeties making virtually the same money as Tartt this year. He doesn't have much leverage.
