What will Jimmy's trade value be in the offseason?

Is Jimmy and our 3rd round pick this year enough for the Steelers 1st round pick? (Sorry if this has already been discussed.)

I think that's a decent trade for both parties

The 49ers have zero leverage. Every team knows the situation, and will lowball.

You always have leverage when you've something that others need. 49ers are the only ones with leverage in this situation right now

Exactly. There aren't 32 starting QBs in the NFL and we have one to spare. We have leverage.

Teams will get mold-able prospects, not known underachievers. Sorry Jimmy stans.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. We need to target FO's that are desperate to keep their job and need to make the playoffs. Because Jimmy can do that. No one is bringing him in to win the championship. But he can pull a franchise from mediocrity to competitive.

He can probably take a bad team to the playoffs. While they develop a young QB for 2 years. That can save your job for a lot of people. It's appealing to some teams.

This is what I've been saying. He would've saved a lot of people's jobs this past year. Whoever is the guy in Denver can get off to a good start if they bring in Jimmy. Rhule can save his job with Jimmy. Mike Tomlin will keep his non-losing streak alive with Jimmy. I know Bruce Arians likes to throw the ball, but Jimmy ain't a bad option.

Absolutely I agree.
I'm guessing it'll be a 3rd that can conditionally become a 2nd. If we are lucky a 2nd straight up would be nice.
They could lowball if they were the only ones....but it's like buying a house in today's market. Most have to pay much more than the house is worth due to supply and demand, especially for a decent house, a house that's a well respected leader and has a killer jawline.

A 2nd is the floor...Lucky for us this drafts QB class is below average at best and like the poster said above there are several teams that will need a quality starter to carry on or for new coaches to have a shot to see the end of their first contracts

He is not taking a bad team to the playoffs. Can we cut the nonsense? Teams can win with a QB like Jimmy if he is given ample help and doesn't need to be relied on to carry a team. The latter is what he would need to do on a regular basis to make the playoffs with a bad team. That's not happening.

We were a bad team before he got here and he took us to the playoffs.

That's right.

3rd prolly maybe 2nd if we get lucky and some dumbass GM gets desparate (maybe hopeless panthers?)

Teams are QB desperate. There are much worse QB'S than Jimmy G in this league. Lots of teams would be happy to have him.

H̶e̶ The team won lots of big games in his career. Including playoffs.

FIFY
Record with Jimmy G.

Record without Jimmy G.

Proves you wrong.

Record with Jimmy G proves that the team didn't win?
Will probably get a better picture after all the QB shuffling happens.
