What will Jimmy's trade value be in the offseason?

Didn't we trade our 3rd this year for Lance?

Yeah, I believe so.
Jimmy, Greenlaw, and a 4th next year for Pitts 1st.

Greenlaw is a player they need next to Bush and can't see us affording him, plus Azeez is a monster too.

What do you think ?

We give them 2 starters for a guy we'll probably f**k up on and won't be a starter possibly? The 20th pick isn't like if it's a top 10 add in a 4th rounder where we're decent at picking. That's too much

See id think not adding the 4th rd pick would make it not enough

A capable starter at QB that wins at nearly a 70% clip and a starting linebacker for a non-premium pick? You've got to see the QB trades of the past 10 years.

We had more than one 3rd rounder this draft after the Saleh/Mayhew hires. So we still have a 3rd this coming draft.

I understand but the world has seen jimmy play lol he didn't win those games, the team did.
Here's an update of my jan 2 post…

First we gotta have a market so :
- we need the big 3 (watson wilson and rodgers) to stay where they are (best case scenario) : i think texans trade watson as early as his legal situation gains clarity and that could be in march ; wilson / rodgers stay put
- as much as possible QB needy teams with playoffs readiness or aspiration in 2022
- no blue chip QB in this year's draft class identified by FO's of those teams
- … which also gotta have cap flexibility to sign JG on a multiyear contract even if they backload it.

So if the market develop as thought, here are Teams i identify to sign JG :

Very likely
- Steelers : they are playoff ready, and have the defense and running game to help JG
- Commanders : somewhat similar to steelers + they search for a new identity with their new name, hope to bring back fans in their stadium (31st last year) and want to hit right of the bat. Riverboat Ron values a QB with leadership that can deal with pressure and take some risks with a short memory.

Likely :
- Buccaneers / Broncos : i expect them to be in bidding war to sign watson and the losers will enter the JG sweepstake

Unlikely :
- saints : for cap reasons
- browns : they'll stay put with Mayfield

doesn't met criteria of playoffs worthy :
- giants
- panthers (+ dead money tight to Darnold)

unknown :
- Dolphins i could see them going in the bidding war for watson, stay put or being front runner for JG depending on the HC selection

Compensation :
ceiling : 2nd this year, 2nd next year with conditional 1st (% snaps played)
floor : 2nd this year
i expect it to be like what the colts gave for Wentz 3rd this year conditional 1st next year

No….not giving up known talent and a pick for a 1st rd pick (mid rd) in this draft
"I'd think the Niners could realistically get a second-round pick plus at least a player," an AFC personnel director of a team not in the quarterback market tells FanSided on the condition of anonymity to speak freely about another team. "But, I do think his market could expand once teams get one look at this year's quarterback class. He's probably better than anyone from this class or 2023.

"If they're trying to get a first-rounder, good luck, they aren't getting close to that for a bridge quarterback, which is what he is."

Yeah, I don't think we get a first - a second is most likely.
I think a lot of people on here are going to be pretty shocked by what we get for JG. Not saying it's going to be multiple first round picks - but you really think he is only worth a 3rd or 4th pick AND we would have to give up a younger good player?

Pittsburgh would honestly be idiotic to not fork up for him. That team is really good and he fits it perfectly.
