What will Jimmy's trade value be in the offseason?

It's easy to s**t on Garoppolo. But the reality is he has spoiled Niners fans. 30% of the league would die to have him over their current option. And, as it turns out, they may try.

We've lost touch with truly awful QB play. Most of these teams in play for Garoppolo are staring at their own version of Cody Pickett, JT O'Sullivan and Shaun Hill right in the face. Enjoy that.

Teams where Garoppolo would easily be the better option:

Carolina-Darnold/Over the hill Cam

Tampa-Kyle Trask/Blaine Gabbert

Denver-Drew Lock/Teddy Bridgewater

Pittsburgh-Mason Rudolph

Washington-Taylor Heinecke

Detroit-Jared Goff

All the 49ers need is one of these teams or any other to look at Garoppolo as someone that they can win with.

I don't know about Bridgewater. On a less talented offensive team, he threw for 18TDs and only 7ints this year..3000+ yards.

One reason I hope we bring him in as a backup, is because he can get us a couple of wins if we ever needed him to.

That's right. That's why we will get more than people here think.

I think it'll be at least two picks. A first and a fourth or a second and a fifth.

Well you would hope Lynch starts with wanting a 1st and goes from there. Impossible to know at this stage. Sending him to Miami for our 29th would send this place into meltdown

A good meltdown or a bad meltdown?

Thought so.
The fact that people are still pretending like Jimmy G's compensation for next year is still too high is laughable. No way in he'll are they getting him for under 20 million a year as one poster suggested. Not when 30+ mil is common and more and more Qbs are getting closer to 40. Deebo is prolly gonna get 20mil. No way a winning QB with 2 nfc championship game runs would accept anything less than 25mil. I think we can throw a pick back at them and possibly get it bumped to a 1. That would be amazing. Otherwise a 2 and some other pick seems like the consensus fair trade.

Complete it

There's always some random teams that pop up.

Is Cleveland sold on Baker Mayfield enough to pay him $35+ mil a year?

What happens if Green Bay does trade Rodgers and how confident are they in Jordan Love?

Is Houston sold on Davis Mills or would their New England management welcome a Garoppolo reunion?

Right now it's all about Rodgers/Wilson/Watson. From what I read Watson is getting traded 100%. Question is when though.

Rodgers and Wilson, kinda the same thing there, who knows how long it's gonna take to trade them or if they even get traded.

That makes me believe that Jimmy will not get traded to Denver or Pitt or Tampa, since those teams are probably gonna be all in in trying to get Rodgers or Wilson, or possibly even Watson, and who knows how long those negotions last. So I think that Kyle will want to trade him as soon as he can so he can start planning the draft board asap.

Denver has Noah Fant, Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Melvin Gordon and Javonte Williams. Lack of offensive talent is not a problem in anyway.

in terms of offensive skill positions i think they are one of the better teams they just need a QB

they have a solid D and offensive playmakers imo

What about Heinicke? He had more total yards and the same amount of passing touchdowns with much less talent and coaching.

I've never argued he's better than Jimmy but he has a better arm, he's younger, and more mobile. I don't think the Commanders are a Jimmy G away from competing.

I do. I think with Jimmy, the Commanders (still sounds weird, just pick a lane already) would be competing with Dallas and Philadelphia right away.

Denver would an ideal destination - I think Jimmy would like it there. They're ready to win, with a lot of talent on the offensive side.

I dont think they are a fit either
1)Steelers- instant SB contenders imo
2) Broncos- Likely a quality playoff team
3) Bucs- solid playoff team
4) Saints- Borderline playoff team and in salary cap hell so i dont see them pulling of trade
Two 1st Round picks. Book it.
