What will Jimmy's trade value be in the offseason?

We've lost touch with truly awful QB play. Most of these teams in play for Garoppolo are staring at their own version of Cody Pickett, JT O'Sullivan and Shaun Hill right in the face. Enjoy that.

Teams where Garoppolo would easily be the better option:

Carolina-Darnold/Over the hill Cam

Tampa-Kyle Trask/Blaine Gabbert

Denver-Drew Lock/Teddy Bridgewater

Pittsburgh-Mason Rudolph

Washington-Taylor Heinecke

Detroit-Jared Goff

All the 49ers need is one of these teams or any other to look at Garoppolo as someone that they can win with.

I'd add to this list:

Chicago-Jimmy would help them win more than Fields or Dalton this year

Houston-It's a mess there. Just fired their HC and Mills is probably not the answer. He did have some impressive games

Colts-Possibly. I think Jimmy for Wentz is a lateral move. The main difference is that Jimmy is not a douchebag and Wentz is. I live in Indy and Colts fans are already tired of Wentz.

Vikings-Probably not. I put this at a 2/10 chance. Maybe they are ready to move on from Kirk with their new regime?

Saints-Also a big question mark. I think Hill sucks and Winston was playing pretty well before he got injured. They may want stability at the QB position and make a play for Jimmy

Raiders-?...depends on what they do with Carr

Giants-Obviously need a QB, but I don't think Lynch or Kyle would do that to Jimmy. Don't you put that evil on me Ricky Bobby!

Dolphins-I think they jumped up to real contenders...I give it a 6/10 chance

I think there is a huge market for Jimmy and we will get a 1st. It sounds crazy but a bidding war will happen for Jimmy. I hope Lynch stays strong and drives up the price.

MMQB: Multiple NFL Evaluators Say There's Not a Single Starting QB in 2022 NFL Draft

"A couple of veteran NFL evaluators told me late in the week that they don't believe there's a single NFL starter in this year's quarterback class," Albert Breer of MMQB reported. "Not everyone was that harsh, but it was unanimous that these quarterbacks aren't close to last year's—and most agreed that all five of last year's first-round signal-callers would've been the top guy at the position in the 2022 draft."

"THATS JIMMY GAROPPOLO'S MUSIC!"

Crazy that all five guys from last year would have been #1 pick this year

Yeah bro I know some teams are high on Willis' and Pickett's potential, but its simply understood they need some work etc. I think we also paid as much as we did for Trey knowing this years class was going to be weak.

Wentz has an injury history as well so Jimmy G should get at least a 2nd and a 4th imo, if not more

In addition, Jimmy is well known as a very positive locker room presence where Wentz, while not destructive, does not have near the presence JG has.

Lol fun fact the best time to buy a new TV is the week of the Super Bowl, best deals all yr
Not sure why INDY and Minn keep coming up? INY eats like $15M if they move off Wentz and Kirk's contract is fully GTD in 2022 ($45M 👀) he's not going anywhere and he played pretty well this yr.

people gotta remember Jimmy will get paid too.

yeah and to add on Indy, they gave up a first round pick in the process for Wentz. Double whammy

Not even a chance with most these teams.

Saints, for the millionth time, they don't have the cap, they are gonna be around 60 mil over the cap...

Bears aren't gonna getting rid of Fields after one year lol

Hou invested a 2nd round pick with Mills, and he looked decent on a bad team, he will continue to be the starter.

Dolphins are rolling with Tua again, their ownership has made it clear they want to see him be the starter.

Raiders are not gonna get rid of Carr for Jimmy, if they trade Carr it's for Wilson.

Lions aren't gonna absorb Goffs big contract and pay Jimmy, same with the. Colts

And why the hell would Vikings get rid of Kirk for Jimmy?

If Rodgers/Wilson get moved quickly, Tampa, Denver, or Pitt gonna miss out on one obviously and that's most likely gonna be a spot for Jimmy. Or if Jimmy doesn't care, Giants and WAS are likely as well

Yeah IND does not make sense cap wise. They would need to find a taker for Wentz's $28 cap hit in 2022 because having both Wentz and Jimmy on the roster at the same time is over $55 in cap allocated to the QB position. nope. Cutting Wentz outright is $15 in dead cap so if they go that route it'd be Jimmy's $27 + $15 dead cap for the QB position in 2022. And the trade assets required to acquire Jimmy. Doesn't add up to a gain imo.

with Wilson gone, do we trade JG to seattle if they are the only team willing to trade ?
