I think Seattle trading a franchise QB is more far fetched than any Jimmy scenario.

There will be suitors for Jimmy and we will get a good pick, 2nd I'd say this year with a 2nd next year if we throw in one of our 3rds next year too.

Funny how people have such Differing opinions on Jimmy's value.

I personally think if it was just based on his arm we wouldn't get much but there are a lot of other qualities and reasons that will effect his market, such as leadership, confidence, quick release, winning record, poor draft class, lack of other QB options a handful of teams that are ready to win now. All of these can't be ignored.

someone will step up, probably a few will want him to varying degrees…. We'll soon find out.

Hope we don't have to wait until March.

Wow the Dophins with their new HC wonder if they go all in for JG

Owner wants to keep Tua.

What's the point of hiring a head coach to run the thing if they can't run the thing?

Russ wanted and almost got his way last year on being traded

as for jimmy.. there are only two teams realistically that could trade for JG

I've read that a part of the HC search was finding someone who could help Tua, with the reports of Flores getting into arguments with him and not having that much needed coach/QB relationship with him.

Jimmy's trade value has more to do with the market than Jimmy himself. For the sake of Jimmy's trade return, we should all be hoping that Wilson stays in Seattle, Rodgers stays in Green Bay and teams arent willing to touch Watson until his legal issues get taken care of. That would allow for the greatest return for us.

Not 30% of the league, but hopefully Lynch can convince them they're bidding against each other.

That is not a complete list.

Complete it

Definitely a third of "starting" QBs in the league are clearly worse than Jimmy. Probably 40% of them. Maybe 45-50%. But once you get to about the 15th best QB, there's a plateau of about 5 QBs that are close enough that you wouldn't spend any draft capital to swap the one who's just a little better than yours. So at best it's ten teams who would actually want to trade for Jimmy, unless they get something back.

Pete the cheat isn't staying in Seattle to do a rebuild his last couple of years. Very little chance Russ gets traded this year.

The fact that people are still pretending like Jimmy G's compensation for next year is still too high is laughable. No way in he'll are they getting him for under 20 million a year as one poster suggested. Not when 30+ mil is common and more and more Qbs are getting closer to 40. Deebo is prolly gonna get 20mil. No way a winning QB with 2 nfc championship game runs would accept anything less than 25mil. I think we can throw a pick back at them and possibly get it bumped to a 1. That would be amazing. Otherwise a 2 and some other pick seems like the consensus fair trade.

Well the issue is that comparative QBs made a lot less: Winston and Bridgewater — Winston was actually playing far better than Jimmy; but on the other hand, the Saints didn't know he'd play that well when they signed him. Not to mention, he got hurt. But regardless, he will drive Jimmy's price down a bit as well.

Thanks LOL. I actually caught that unintentional wording while I was typing it, but chose to keep it in there hahaha

Wentz has an injury history as well so Jimmy G should get at least a 2nd and a 4th imo, if not more

In addition, Jimmy is well known as a very positive locker room presence where Wentz, while not destructive, does not have near the presence JG has.

That's also a good point in our favor that hasn't been discussed too much. He's a coach's dream.
