What will Jimmy's trade value be in the offseason?

If I was the NY Giants, WFT, Saints or Texans (post-Watson trade), I'd trade a 3rd or a 6th and conditional 2023 (2nd thru 4th) pick for Jimmy G. And extend him for 1-2 more seasons to soften the cap hit.
I think he could be a great fit on WFT or Saints, but he could be a locker room hero for the rebuilding Texans.
Jimmy is older so i dont think projects like the Giants or texans would be options. I think teams that believe they are there or are a few pieces away will make the deal.
Teams i think are saints (have salary cap issues), Panthers(may not because of the darnold fiasco), Steelers (pretty good fit), WFT(few pieces away probably draft a qb soon as well), Broncos(same as WFT), Browns( will move on from Baker this year) are all potential trade targets. It helps that this qb draft class is pretty poor and not many teams will be welling to spend a high pick on one of these qbs

NFL have proven to be stupid year after year, it is possible some teams would offer a mid to late round 1st,even with JG's contract, which in my opinion is too high,as well as the overall pay QB's get. But just look at what teams have paid for Sam Bradford,Nick Files, Cam Newton this year for 10 mil, Jay Cutler, Kirk Cousins.
They will get at least a 2nd for JG and he's well worth that and a probably a 3rd or at least a 4th to boot.

After watching Baker Mayfield last night maybe we can trade Jimmy for one of their cornerbacks.

I think the poll results so far are about right.

I don't see the Texans trading for him. Their rookie QB is actually doing ok despite their crappy team. They're in rebuild mode and will probably get something for Watson to help their rebuild.
If Watson can go somewhere after serving this year in purgatory, and maybe settling his civil cases, after he goes the rest of the FA market for QB will move. Pitt is a great place for a FA QB, if Watson or Jimmy G goes there they should be a playoff team again.
The other big name QB to probably move is Russel Wilson. Rumor is he could want Chicago, then their rookie QB Fields sits or is traded.

Surely Bears aren't dumb enough to trade Fields so early?

Since Jimmy G got hurt AGAIN, he's going to garner the Niners a third round pick or a conditional 2nd rounder at best.

Watson is still young trading Fields and picks for watson is a no brainer imo (assuming watson has no legal issues). I would argue Watson is a top 3-4 QB assuming no drop off
i cant imagine the stats watson would put up on a decent team with good WRs

Legal and NFL issues are still coming for field. Trading for a suspended player is ludicrous... Watson doesn't have that Kraft money to make it all go away

Trade Jimmy to NYG for Daniel Jones and a 2nd round pick.
Or CLE, PIT, MIA, NO, WAS, or MIN

I don't mind Jones but he's not a good fit for us. First off Jones would limit much of the compensation we get in draft picks. I mean he may be as valuable as JG. JG is better now but JG is 30. Teams value youth and potential. Jones made big strides this year cutting down turnovers and is 24. Plus Jones would needlessly complicate the Lance situation. Hopefully Lance starts 17 games next year and isn't made of glass. So backup QB could just be Sudfeld let's focus on the draft picks.
