What will Jimmy's trade value be in the offseason?

I think he'd be perfect for the Steelers. Big Ben is done and their roster is good enough to continue to make a playoff push.

I think so too but not sure they would value JG as for a long time with Ben their offense would be all about pushing the ball downfield the vertical game. JG wouldn't be ideal for that. I see JG in Denver maybe. Wherever he goes, expect it to be an AFC club who we will inevitably face in the Super Bowl.

Trade Jimmy to NYG for Daniel Jones and a 2nd round pick.

Or CLE, PIT, MIA, NO, WAS, or MIN

I don't understand why any of these teams would trade assets for a QB who's only marginally better statistically and for MIN case, a downgrade statistically + eating 27m.

Jimmy made a big impact with us because he's a good QB and the other QBs we were trotting out were Bryan Hoyer, Nick Mullens, and CJ Beathard.

When you start comparing Jimmy to Winston, Mariota, Nick Foles, and Bridgewater… he's not going to be a better value than any of them with his current contract and the picks needed to acquire him.

I don't see the Texans trading for him. Their rookie QB is actually doing ok despite their crappy team. They're in rebuild mode and will probably get something for Watson to help their rebuild.

If Watson can go somewhere after serving this year in purgatory, and maybe settling his civil cases, after he goes the rest of the FA market for QB will move. Pitt is a great place for a FA QB, if Watson or Jimmy G goes there they should be a playoff team again.
The other big name QB to probably move is Russel Wilson. Rumor is he could want Chicago, then their rookie QB Fields sits or is traded.

Surely Bears aren't dumb enough to trade Fields so early?

I've read several rumors if they can get Russ they will stash or trade him.

In other news Deshawn Watson today has officially settled 18/21 civil claims against him.

Yup it will be JG vs Lance.
Anyone who thinks this guy is worth any team trading for him is delusional. His contract and history will not bring any substantial return. Why would any team give us draft capital and take on his contract?

They wouldn't. He would have to be willing to extend his contract for another year or 2. I think he's due 27million next year. If they did a 2yr $30 to $35 million i think he would have interest.

For 2 years / $30 million the Niners should just keep him for insurance. With Trey costing so little for a couple years they'd both fit.
at best a 3rd, but he's worth at least a 4th.
Let's trade JG and Mitchell to Carolina for McCaffrey and Darnold.

I would love McCaffrey on the 49ers (huge Stanford fan) but this ain't happening.
If he goes to the saints

Good one. I would LOVE to face him in the Super Bowl. Not only is he the easiest style QB for our D line to sack, Kyle probably knows all of his weaknesses. If I had to pick QBs to face in that game, he would probably be at the top of the list.
