JG is a big upgrade over some of those teams current starters.

Why was Jimmy G not helping him out? I got disgusted with him having conversations when the camera was on him instead of mentoring and giving Lance advice each and every series.

oh,, i agree.. i would gladly take advantage of their dumbness and get a 2nd or 3rd. i was a jimmy fan but after that disgraceful game two weeks ago.. f**k him. maybe trent taylor made jimmy look better than what he really was. lol

I want a *really* dumb bottom feeding team giving us a Hershel Walker deal.

But yeah, they are a bottom feeding organization for a *reason.* Their front office makes dumb moves to put them in that situation. So it's my hope a bottom feeding organization will do something dumb and give us a first and maybe a second rounder for Jimmy.

Strange you say that. I too noticed when the camera was panned on Trey a couple of times Jimmy was off to the side laughing it up with other teammates. I thought the same. why isn't he over there lifting up Trey. Especially after the snap from Kyle to Trey.

sorry.... i am just so frustrated that one man cost us a playoff spot in my opinion.. yes i know the final chapter is not written yet.. but if we miss the playoffs. i will look back on that game more so than games like green bay

I'd be ecstatic if that happened. The Niners gave up a 2nd rounder to get him and that was a good deal at the time. He was only 26, had 3 years in the league sitting behind Brady and a few starts. Only one injury. Next year he'll be 31 and coming off his 3rd major injury in 4 seasons. Even a 2nd rounder would be a steal.

Missing the playoffs definitely will hurt, but it's pretty much Jimmy's fault. Wait! Before the Tomato's, what I mean is that Jimmy always seems to be hurt. In the Patriots he was hurt on the second game, and with us, it's every other year he's out of commission. If he was healthy in the Titan's game, we win that one. Unfortunately he got hurt in this (I think) first half of the Titan's game and in the 2nd half, is when the interceptions started happening. Now we have to have Trey step in when, maybe, he's not yet quite ready - but it is what it is. I'm kind of glad ShanaLynch had the balls to let Jimmy go and get Trey. If anything, Trey has more pocket awareness and hopefully will avoid those significant injuries that Jimmy seemingly was never able to avoid.

9 years ago this same thread wouldve never said 2 2nds for Alex. We just dont know what his true valuation is.

Agree. But with the QB class being so week (as per the draft nerds) I think we can do better than a 2nd rounder.

Secondly, I'd like ShanaLynch fleece a bottom feeder organization for some OLinemen to protect Trey. I think NC was commenting on another thread that Jimmy got hurt (I think) on a play action pass where the pass protection didn't hold up and Jimmy got sacked and injured his thumb. Trey got hurt this season also with a finger injury, so I think there is a common denominator in injuries to QB's here - and it's not so much Jimmy but maybe a certain position group.

Throughout the game when our sideline was on camera, I didn't see Jimmy talking to Trey once. Would have been nice to see them looking at plays together and talking about what each sees. Wasn't just there at the end.
